He did good but here is thing that people like the thing that they want to hear for ex. You wanted to hear that heat mode for blow drying is not damaging and he said that so you liked it, not understandable but logical

I used to set my blow dryer at medium heat, now that I tried max heat ...definitely change everything for my hairstyle! 🙏🏻 I’m done with that technique now ! 100% recommended! Thank you
@realkaiporten
@realkaiporten 6 жыл бұрын
Great video! Maybe I can add something about the heat damage part: Structural damage to your hair (i.e. damage to keratin, a protein that your hair is made of) occurs only at at least 100 degrees celsius. At that temperature, you would typically remove the hair dryer because it hurts on your skin, so most non-masorchistic people should be fine! There's also "damage" by loss of moisture, which is why we use pre-stylers and nourishing products. Heat protectants usually try to protect you from this, not from the structural damage to your hair - which is mainly because a wax or oil _won't_ be able to protect your hair against structural damage, although many brands will tell you they can. This has to do with thermal conductivity, the oil/wax heats up and then damage is done anyway. So if a brand tells you there is a heat protectant in their product, it's usually to provide moisture and not to shield your hair from serious damage. There are some polymers that will be able to shield your hair a little against heat, but not too much, so high heat will always do its damage, no matter what you put in your hair before blow drying. But as I said, for most people, the high heat setting should be fine, because you'd hurt your skin anyway. Cheers!

Feel like I’m always late to you’re videos 😂 my fringe is about 7 inches and it tapers to the back, and I have super fine hair so achieving volume is a pain in the ass. But I’m definitely gonna try these techniques; especially for the Steve Harrington style(which is my favorite hair styling video you have 😜) Also are all the thermal brushes equal or do you have a personal favorite?
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle 5 жыл бұрын
Haha well I hope this video helps! Also tbh I’ve found that it’s much easier for me to achieve big volume with my hair a bit shorter (my fringe is probably around 4.5 or 5 inches now). I can’t say I’ve tried many different thermal brushes - the one I have has lasted me forever lol. My personal preference is just the bristle type. I don’t like the ones with the little plastic balls on the end of each bristle as much because I can’t grip my hair as well with those.
@Molten-Throne
@Molten-Throne 5 жыл бұрын
TDM Style well thanks muxhly for the reply! Yeah I found 4 inches is about the perfect length for me to get my hair up, but I’m growing my hair out probably to around 10ish inches just to experiment and have a wide arrange of styles; but for sure I’m causing my own problems 😂 helpful advice, so I thankee-sia, oh and also I think your hair was most badass here; the color and the length is pretty godly 😜

What's the difference between using a brush that's that thick vs a much thinner round brush? Is the only difference the amount of volume?
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle 4 жыл бұрын
Nah it’s mostly about the control. Larger diameter brushes are easier to wrap longer hair around - while the smaller ones might make it more difficult to straighten it out. Think of them kinda like rollers. Smaller roller = tighter curls.

Random question: what is your "style" called? I am purely curious because the only hair styles I know of is a buzzcut, mullet, quiff, and slickback.
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle 5 жыл бұрын
I guess I’d just call it a “modern quiff” or something to that effect.

If you had a limited budget and were choosing which product to buy first (get the second one at a later date), would you choose 25 spray or Clutch?
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle 6 жыл бұрын
Hmm tough call. If I was just going for soft, healthy looking hair, then def 25. But if I wanted a styler, then Clutch. So it really depends on what you’re after. I guess probably 25 spray, since it works well in combination with literally any other styling product haha

hi, i want to ask something. .what is the correct temperature of cool air from hair dryer? is it below room temperature or just normal room temperature? because i just bought panasonic EH-na65k and its blowing not enough cool air to me, its just like normal air from fan or like normal temperature room.
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle 5 жыл бұрын
To be honest I have no idea, but generally to me it feels cooler than room temperature, but probably just because of the high speed. Essentially it is just a powerful fan at that point.

does it heat cause to damage your hair when its too close to hair?

As long as you don't leave it in one spot for a long time to the point where your hair and scalp starts to burn, then you'll be fine.
