My biggest concern is always run time, and cost of extra batteries! I recently bought a Milwaukee M18 brushcutter, it works fine, but runtime is poor. I generally have to finish jobs with my Husqvarna 535LK! Blowers are the biggest energy consuming tools you can own. My Husqvarna 580BTS runs for at least an hour on full throttle per tank. The high output batteries are ridiculously expensive in the UK!

How much are batteries going for in UK. In the US, the 12 amp-hour batteries are going for about $200.

@TheLawngineer . Prices in the UK are ridiculous. I only bought my M12 Hatchet last year, once the M18 version came out, as it was originally £470! Most of my equipment is Husqvarna 2 stroke, but picked up this year's catalogue, and I feel I've been priced out! My 580BTS blower is pretty much a £1000 now!😱

I like that storage feature! I often have to use one of those large reusable twist ties on my other one.

It’s a nice, simple add. Makes a huge difference. Now, it can hang on the wall.

The number of batteries is getting ridiculous. I feel like their OPE should end up on the MX line eventually... I suspect Milwaukee has to keep prices high on their outdoor equipment because they don't want to cannibalize M18 battery sales that people are stuck paying high prices for on their other power tools. The price per kWh on the M18 batteries is nonsensical for this kind of equipment.

Great Video Vince. I'm a huge Milwaukee fan. After watching your and others I have noticed it looks very weak in comparison to my Echo 755ST. I haven't heard anyone say they were impressed with the power. I'm all about growing my Milwaukee collection but this blower honestly seems a bit over priced. I am jealous and would love to have it but seems under powered. Also, the tube seems to be a stubby.

Battery powered blowers are just silly. I own many battery powered tools but gas blowers are WAY better, cheaper, and more powerful.

How does weight, power, and runtime directly compare to gas? It’d be an interesting comparison.

Power and run time are similar to that of a 60CC gas competitor. The weight is what’s way different. This is about 7 lbs heavier than a 60CC gas version.

Cool - thanks for the quick reply. I actually closed my windows today from loud gas blowers coming from the neighbors. I suspect the noise reduction could have good benefits in denser urban areas.

I will stick with my BR800 for less than half the cost and double the performance. This blower is for a fan boy with too much money or a commercial contractor with a special use case.

These battery powered products are an absolute joke 30 minutes runtime with 4 hd12 batteries I’ll stick with my stihl rb600 who uses a blower on low power literally defeats the purpose of a blower when you can use a broom
