Brilliant mower but two things that I noticed, one is the weight- it's really heavy if you need to lift it by hand! Second, it pulls a fraction to the left on mine so it's impossible to keep a straight strip, not a huge thing but it's a little annoying. Loads power and overall great machine, definitely recommend it...

I recently purchased the M18 brushcutter, run time is my only complaint. I get about 20 minutes from each 8.o battery, was looking at getting a couple of 12.o batteries, but in the UK, that's almost £500! 😮
@TheLawngineer
@TheLawngineer 2 күн бұрын
@@tgsgardenmaintenance4627 yeah, seems like with anything battery powered, run time is always going to be an issue. Lots of companies (including Milwaukee) are coming up with faster charging solutions to help combat the issue. I find that having two (or even 3) sets of batteries with their supercharger helps. Batteries are insanely expensive though.

@@TheLawngineer. With regards to the batteries, is there a big difference between the 12.o high output and the 12.o Forge, other than price?
@TheLawngineer
@TheLawngineer 2 күн бұрын
@@tgsgardenmaintenance4627 I’m not sure yet, I haven’t really looked into it. It’s still a 18 volt pack and 12 ah. So I’d think the power and runtime would be exactly the same. But perhaps there are some other things built into the new battery that improves charging. Might just be marketing too. 🤷‍♂️

Does Sedgehammer need to be watered in? I suppose not because the instructions say not to apply when rain is forecast, but I also understand it's a systemic herbicide which I thought meant watering in so it would work its way down to the roots and be absorbed by them.

How does the weight compare to the EGO edger. It seems Milwaukee is a lot more pricey than EGO. They had a sale at Lowes with power head and edger for $149, but it was too heavy. I couldn't find Milwaukee power head and edger only.

Without batteries, the Milwaukee powerhead and edger attachment is a tad heavier (0.16 lbs). But I believe the Ego batteries are a lot heavier than the Milwaukee batteries.
