Here is my latest blown small block Chevy. It started life as a 2-bolt main block. It has since had splayed 4-bolt main caps added. The GM forged crank is cut .010"/.010". The rotating assembly is finished off with ceramic coated blower pistons and 6 inch I-beam rods.
The camshaft is a Sig Erson solid roller. Roller lifters and roller rockers are Comp Cams.
Heads are GM Bowtie aluminum that has been ported, polished and opened up for 2.080" intake valves. Head gaskets are SCE ICS Titan o-ringed copper gaskets.
The block, heads and rotating assembly were all built for up to 8,500rpm. This engine would be race ready with a little overdrive and race gas.
The blower is a GMC 6-71. It is set up for pump gas and is intended for street and mild strip use. It is set up with 1/2" pitch pulleys at 1:1 drive. It is topped off with two Holley 1850 carbs that have been boost referenced for blower use. The carbs are used but I have been clear thru them. I replaced the main body, cleaned all passages, changed main jets and modified the main bodies for boost referencing of the power valves.
