I saw the town a few months after the Velvet Revolution and the opening of the borders. The formidable change it has gone through ever since is absolutely breathtaking! It turned from grey and decay into this amazing place! Thank you for this video!

I spent my summer holidays here. Indeed beautiful. You can also visit Marianske Lazne, just 25 minutes away. There is a park called Boheminium, where you can find most Czech sites in their miniature (1:25) forms. Just an example: I am 1.85 metres tall. There is the St. Bartholomew Cathedral's model. I could fit into its tower. The real cathedral is in Plzen (about 80 minutes by car from here). How tall is it? Well... I had to go to the other side of the square so that the tower fit into my optics.
