Great video man. Teddy needs to put 3.73 with that centrfugal blower. That's why you jumped him at the start. The centrfugal builds power with RPM. The quicker you jump into RPM the better with centrfugal set ups

@@cocacola3269 650whp seems to be the safe spot for pump gas. Anything higher than that should only be achieved using e85. There are guys pushing 700+whp on pump 93 using octane booster, but it’s much safer to go e85 instead of risking damaging your engine.

I have a 3v with longtubes and a cai. Just drove a 3v with the same except with Ford hot rod cams. That car pulls so much in the powerband . I would look into putting cams in it as well!

2 things. 1. At that power level, long tubes will probably free up 30hp or so. A worthwhile upgrade. 2. Even tho you have a gen1 coyote..i know more than a few people that have 2014s that claim to have found they have gen2/boss rods from the factory. Seems to be a change over thing.

That would probably only apply to later model 2014s since that’s when they were transitioning to the stronger Gen2. That wouldn’t apply to Derek’s car, though, as it is a 2013.

Derek my setup is similar except I have Gen 2r on 75mm pulley. Should be right around 12 pounds boost similar to yours. Did vmp say going e85 and pushing more out of gen 1 is safe? lol I dynoed at 710 wheel and would love to do their fuel system for e85 but im scared with those rods lol

You have to throw on the long tubes, you will be surprised how restricted that car is on stock exhaust manifolds. My truck completely opened up when I threw on long tubes, now with heads it’s a completely different truck.
