Once again, Charlie. Fantastic breakdown. You know your stuff. The end credit BGM for El Chapulin was Disneyland’s electric parade march. As a kid, I used to think Disneyland ripped off El Chapulin. When George Lopez’s character showed off his EMI generator, I knew right away what the easter egg was. The colors were unmistakeable and his POW Hammer was included. The music was important too. It reminded me of my father when he played guitar in a “Trio” in his home country. Los Tres Reyes were one of his favorite. The movie was made as if it were a Televisa production, so I can see why it didn’t do well in the US. Not due to its quality. It was well produced, but due to its Latino sensibilities and somewhat muted marketing. I’m surprised my people didn’t run out to support the film. It is our Black Panther (and much better,imo). it’s a shame because the movie is quite good. The film references Latin American culture and historic moments, not just from Mexico. Northern, Central and Southern Latin America all get a shout out. For those of you that grew up with Civil War El Salvador and Nicaragua, you will get the nuances from Abuela and Carapax. For all I know, “Mama Reyes” could have hooked up with Che Guevara. Blue Beetle ranks up there with Coco, Encanto, and whatever other Latino-centric feature Disney has produced. If Blue Beetle had the Disney brand with nothing changed, then perhaps the BO would be different. Nonetheless, I applaud WB for producing it. NETFLIX has a show called The Chose One, based on Millar’s American Jesus which was adapted with a Latino tilt. I recommend it if you’re in the mood for more classic Latino vibes. The music is fantastic in it, too.

NUMBER 3-People been working hard for years to bring these characters to life on the big screen and I know some of them are bad because the cgi, visual effects, screen play, the box office, the costumes, the performances of the cast, the plot, rotten tomatoes, and worrying that is going to be another flop that I seen on the internet. NUMBER 4- SOME THAT KEPT COMPLAINING AND WORRYING THAT MOVIES AREN'T GOING TO BE GOOD BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE EXPERIENCE, HOW BORING WILL BE AND SAYING NEGATIVE OR TRASH TALKS ABOUT THE FLIM. NUMBER 5- How much money they make in the box office.

I know that some of the super hero movies didn't do pretty well this year and last year. Let's hope the future of the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE will do well because I'M A FAN, and I know that some people out there kept complaining of how good or bad the marvel movies and TV shows are. I'm excited to see THE MARVEL'S because I wanted to find out what happens next since I saw MS MARVEL on DISNEY PLUS. I know that SECRET INVASION wasn't good because it doesn't show much of the action, and they should fix a little bit of the cgi for the last episode. Also I'm really excited to see DEADPOOL 3, look I know that didn't do well since the release of ANTMAN 3, let's hope the Writers Strike will end so that the writers, producers and actors will get back to work to finish on what they're doing because a lot of flims like KRAVEN THE HUNTER, DEADPOOL 3, SPIDER-MAN ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE SEQUEL AND MANY OTHER FILMS HAVE BEEN PUT ON HOLD OR DELAYED.

Charlie listening to you talk about El Chapulín Colorado is just incredibly awesome. The character is so dear to all of us who grew up in Latin America, it’s part of all our childhoods. I really enjoyed this movie, it was fun and surprisingly emotional, love the cast and the soundtrack/score. Can’t wait for Jaime to show up again. Thank You.

Man I finally watched it was fkin awesome I give it a 8/10 it was really solid superhero origin story with great action, heart, emotions, and humor even if I feel like it was a bit much at times I still love this film but overall I also loved Blue Beetle from the Young Justice so I’m really hyped for Jaime Reyes and Ted Kord becoming Blue Beetles in the DCU always crossing over with Peacemaker, Booster Gold, Green Lantern and other DCU characters. But overall I really loved the movie!

I love KZfaq's sometimes wildly inaccurate closed captioning, especially when it comes to comic book alien names and such. I've got to giggle at the text "Kaiju Dog" in this video so many times and I needed that in my life today. Also "Car Parks," what a great villain name. Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of heroes like "Car Parks." Especially the ones that charge hourly and automatically round up to the next full hour!

Just saw the movie today and loved it. They definitely left it open for a sequel which would’ve been nice but I doubt we’re gonna get one. Great film mixed with amazing family values & action. Jaime’s abuela was so badass. She becomes a fan favorite towards the end of the film.

The flash being a historic failure is sad for my hero. Its like they didn't want to make a flash film. No flash rogues or actor cameos but every batman superman and their rogues appear. Even the assumed surprise villian eobarb doesn't appear. They never wanted to make a flash movie is what it seems

Fun fact: about the chapulin Colorado. In the show his parents are named “pantaleon Colorado y rotos ” and “luisa lane” the first of which translates to red and ripped pants. And Luisa lane obviously referred to Lois lane. insinuating that his parents are Superman and Lois lane!

Question? When Blue beetle was first flying in the city. He flew over a kid with locs, is that kid Virgil Hawkins? I mean the kid was walking by himself it seemed very pointed to me.

I don't speak Spanish and my CC wasn't working right, but I got the gist of what they were saying. I have to say that this was the most enjoyable DC movie that I've seen in a long time, that wasn't super gritty and couldn't be watched with my family. The story was interesting, there was a bit of humor, the action was good. Solid movie!
