I found out about him when I first played injustice 2 thought “who’s this silly looking guy?” Mostly cause his helmet looks a lil weird in injustice 2 but he was badass! I loved his arsenal and speed in that game so I’m really looking forward to seeing this 😊

Well, the thing with the scarab is, he does the fighting for him, so i know where you are coming from, like the wisdom of solomon bullshit with Shazam, but yeah. Training paying off is not on the table these days which is a shame. And then the sequel can be Jaime meeting Ted Kord who was handed the mantle of blue beetle after Dan Garrett but wasn’t given the powers of the scarab because it was lost and that can be the plot driver for the second movie

@@mitromney I didn't know what direction DC was going with their extended universe after I was let down by Dawn of Justice so I've been on team MCU after The Avengers to Quantumania. Wonder Woman was OK. I didn't watch the other films you mentioned. Zack Snyder hasn't been my favorite director after Dawn of Justice. However, I did like Joker and The Batman. And David Ayer's Suicide Squad was good. I'm hoping this film will be good.

And in 2019 (only three years ago, prior to Covid where most releases were postponed and theaters were shut) - Avengers: Endgame became the second highest earning film of all time, in 2021 - Spider-Man became the seventh highest earning film (again - ) of all time. "But, a couple of them didn't make that much money or underperformed!" Same could be said for every genre out there. Some films do well, others don't. Some superhero films do well, others don't. That's all common sense. Let me guess, you're one of the commentators of an odd notion that even Dr. Strange 2 didn't do well whereas in *reality* it earned more both domestically and worldwide than the first Dr. Strange film. One could say the recent Thor film earned less than the last Thor film overall. However, Thor 4 actually earned more than Thor 3 domestically AND Thor 4 played in *less* countries, thus of course the box office take would be less than Thor 3 due to having less avenues for earnings. Shang-Chi wasn't a top earner for the MCU, BUT it the highest earner during Covid until Spider-Man: No Way Home. Black Widow is hard to gauge due to opening at theaters and home at the same time. That, ultimately, leaves it to Ant Man, Black Adam, and Shazam. Ant Man 3 got terrible reviews, Ant Man was never a top earning hero at the box office, and radically changed the formula for said films. Black Adam and Shazam are inherently connected - even within the same film - and got terrible reviews. Shazam also waited to long for a sequel, partly due to Covid. So that's three out of many in years where superhero films *still* made up about half of the worldwide box office take and all of these revolve around films that were critiqued as poorly made. That doesn't indicate "fatigue" lol - when that *actually* happens, superhero films will no longer make up around half of the top 10 top earners domestically and/or worldwide. The most hilarious thing though is this - people have been saying there was a "super hero fatigue" since before even the launch of the MCU lol. It's like hearing people screaming the world is ending - sure a lot of people oddly like to scream that, but here's the catch - doomsayers have been predicting that since the beginning and it hasn't happened yet.
