Michael Tran is a 3 year member of the Concord Blue Devils. From Southern California, Michael started drum corps in 2015 with Pacific Crest before joining the Blue Devils in 2016. Micheal is also a member of RCC during the winter season. Michael Tran ages out in 2019.

I saw that. Everytimw a key came undone I laughed because my band used to use a glock that when u hit certain notes really hard they popped off. And it didn’t help that the glock was on a diagonal.

For anyone who read my comment last year on this video in 2017 about how salty I was about how my tech gave the xylophone part in my band which was easy for me. According to a very trusted source he gave me the part because he that I was annoying so he put me on the most annoying instrument. And I like barely talk ever I’m a very shy person. Yeah so anyway basically the worst instructor I’ve ever had because of that and because he like never showed up so we had to like teach ourselves everything which also caused a lot of drama

This is mind blowing cause I’m the xylo for dobie high school in Houston Texas and I have four parts I have to play (xylo, crot., Bells , and crash cymbals. You can check out our show if you look up “dobie high school band Channelview 2018” our show is called angel in the architecture and it awesome, this gives me so much confidence because I’m a freshman and still have 3 years to learn how be as good as Michael.

I have a question that’s hopefully someone will try to answer. I saw that when he played he was playing on the outer side of the resonators not the inside of them. Y would u play on the outside because I don’t think it makes a difference besides the fact that playing on the inside is easier.

I know you asked this a month ago, but I have an answer. It is a preference of sound. Some people believe that playing in the center of the bar creates a better sound, while some feel the same for just off of the resonator. I've been told to play both ways, so it's probably just what he has been taught to do.
