One of the things I noticed in the series after rewatching it. The blue cloak that Mizu wears is the same one her husband, Mikio had. I think she took it and then killed Violet after that happened. Violet was the opium dealer, Abijah dealt in guns. The other two are traffickers, so I suspect it's going to get grim.

Mizu means Water, which also fits the color aesthetic and the blade patern.

I did some reading and as near as I can determine, an onryo is a vengeful spirit that is believed to also bring natural disasters such as storms and fire. The storm at the end may symbolize the storm that she's bringing as she takes the fight to them. It makes the burning of the city so much more heart breaking. Her community has told her she's a harbinger of evil all her life. It must be a hopeless feeling to believe doom walks with you and you can't do anything about it.

Have to keep Fowler alive so she can learn "English" (well, you know other than the English we were hearing), and once she gets to England she'll have to deal with a London under the control of Cromwell, which was no fun for anyone at the time.

This episode did have a few plot holes, but overall the show's great so I don't care too much. Nothing's perfect 🤷♀ Remember when Mizu said "Revenge doesn't hesitate"? - yeah, about that... Fowler bought his life by dangling information in front of her, and now he's gonna be playing the long game, probably trying to get her to trust him so he can then stab her in the back. Well, good luck with that man ^^° I so hope there's a season2 and they can keep the quality up!

@@milantarbuk1039 Well, there's the bit with the giant army approaching the capital city that nobody seems to notice somehow^^° Akemi and Seki by their lonesome pushing closed a giant castle gate against half an army is also a bit... ehm... the fire that Mizu started burning fast enough to stop Fowler in his tracks one moment, but then taking its sweet time incinerating them while they're having their *cough* heart-to-heart... yeah^^° I guess the showrunners were running out of time/money there. A pity, because with a few more episodes, that plotline could have been resolved better, but yeah 🤷

@@rhokesh4391 I don't get how extra episodes would have fixed anything you said. Everything you mentioned has nothing to do with plot holes. It seems you have more of an issue with what you consider bad writing or scene pacing. Rather than plot holes which would be a more apt choice of words if what is shown wasn't explained or contradicted something that was said before.

@@rhokesh4391 I see what you're saying. Akemi and the older man being able to hold back an army, the fire not killing both mizu & fowler, the city not seeing the massive army until they are warned, Akemi's father not dying in the fire (How did they get him when they were outside?), Taigen being able to them on the bridge but the army was killed instantly and couldn't cross the gate, and Fowler had multiple opportunities to kill Mizu and Taigen but just kept throwing them and running instead.... other than that it was great! Just a few things you had to overlook to enjoy
