Sticking with the Bulleid theme this week as we head back to familiar territory to witness the formal relaunch into service of 34059 ‘Sir Archibald Sinclair’. Although technically returning to service in late 2023, she has been behind closed doors receiving her remarkable new paint job and had only come out in May.
Holding a special timetable to mark the celebration, the highlight would be a little speech by tv presenter Tim Dunn at Sheffield Park station where we open the video. I did film the opening two service trains hauled by Fenchurch and Camelot however the awful weather at the time had other ideas so the decision was taken not to include them. Also worth noting that Fenchurch was meant to double header with 65 for two runs however she unfortunately failed at Kingscote meaning 65 had to pull this service on its own.
All clips were filmed 15/6/24 and are in no particular order.
