Bluefish Are Here Spring Run April 2023

Жыл бұрынBeautiful foggy morning in the NJ surf. I set out to target stripers but the bluefish decided to make an appearance. First fish of the day I lost on a new plug, quickly retied and got back to the action. I was able to land few and dropped a couple. Bluefish wasn't the intended target but rods were bent and lines were tight.

I have a 2500 Penn slammer DX and it sounds similar. Only used it one season so far. Surprising for the price and being Penn's top tier model at the time. Nice video. Thanks.

I love my slammers. I have 2 of them. My 5500 squeaked from day one. Took it back to fish heads they replaced the body free of charge but within a few late night trips later constantly being splashed nd dunked the squeak came back. Ima continue to beat and abuse it till It stop working 🤷🏾♂️😂

We have fish all up down the Jersey coast…just have to put your time in wether you pluggin or chunkin. Poke around the raritan Bay Area and to my knowledge there still is a clam bite in the seaside nd lbi area. Good luck my guy!
