I'll never forget the day Johnny called me up to wish me a Happy Birthday! I "met" him through a mutual friend, Jason Macedo, and Johnny could not have been more kind. He is a TREMENDOUS talent and is a total class act. Love you, Johnny!

I think it's impossible to make list of "greatest guitar players" because everybody has a different list.Everybody hears music and guitarist differently.Having said that, Johnny Hiland would be in the top 3 on my list along with Tony Rice and Steve Gaines.God bless you Johnny.

Mr. Hiland is such an incredible player! I'm a Blues Rock /Hard classic Rock guy and Everyone knows Who Johnny is! No matter what you play we all know Johnny can play some serious lead guitar! It's also nice to see what a humble gentleman he truly is!

Johnny just turned 40 and if he wants to turn 50, he needs to drop the carbs and go keto to get healthy. I say this because we love Johnny and don't want to lose him.

@@BourneAccident I was just about to say the same thing about the carbs. I lost 30 pounds and maintaining with the keto diet. Low carb high fat diet. I was heading to size 40 waist size.

What an amazing guitar hero Johnny is, he is incredible. Not so into the musicman or his effects choice though. Personally not my thing but I think he is quite possibly one of the best there is.

I think Johnny is the nicest man on earth & a great guitarist , but sometimes he over plays !!!! licks & speed should fit the song , sometimes less is more . on some of these tunes it would in my opinion sound better simplfied that's all .... still great though & a lovely person ... shane from England ...
