Pompey's Promotion Party day that was spoilt by a below par performance that in the end didn't seem to matter, the only disappointment being we cannot achieve 100 points now!
Great moment for the team to pick up their medals and lift the cup at Fratton Park. One game left at Lincoln next Saturday and then the joint celebration with the Pompey women on Sunday, who were also promoted to their Championship and did a lap of honour at half time here.
However, that is it for Fratton Park now until the new season, so lets see what further improvements are made - both on & off the pitch! PuP!!

Not impressed by the way Pompey played there last game at home they are getting good wages and they preform like that in front of off a packed paying crowd and most people aren’t earning a decent wage but still turn up and therefore should be treated too at least a good game even though it doesn’t matter about the result Pompey should have been more professional in the match from a disappointing fan but saying all that well done Pompey

Yes a disappointing game as I was still hoping for 100 points, but not to be. Certainly felt like the "hangover" or "already on the beach" until the substitutions and an improved last 15 or so minutes, but couldn't force an equaliser. In the end in didn't seem to matter and the lifting of the cup took over. However, the spontaneity of emotion and excitement had dissipated by the time they reached the Fratton End! Would have liked to see them all bouncing together with the Fratton End or doing a group "punching the air" but in the end we all drifted away to celebrate in our own ways, with great memories of what we have achieved this season ... we are the Champions and we are going up! I would have bitten your arm off for that after the first pre-season friendly in Spain! Anyway, PuP and we go again!
