Sending all happiness to portsmouth in the championship next season from a Newcastle fan

I just want to apologies to the club and especially John Mousinho and his staff. When i first heard that Mousinho was appointed manager before the start of last season i was frustrated and doubted everything. I thought we'd be spending another season in this same league. But, the club has done so well with the recruitment and backed John all the way. The stadium improvements have been really good. Great backing from the owners, and they've been very patient and not shyed away from being upfront and transparent with everything off the field. Congratulations to this amazing club and supporters. Thank you JM and to all the players. You've deserved your holidays so enjoy the time off and get back to training in the summer ready to get going again in the league that this club belongs. Was welling up last night and this morning. Born and bred in pompey 35 years ago and supported pompey through thick and thin. Always a blue. Thank you so much to John, the players, all the staff, the owners and all you other fans. Incredible. Not sure I have ever been prouder of my beloved pompey. PUP!!!!!!

It's been a terrific season . Everyone has played their part in it . Fratton park is revamped , terrific recruitment of a manager and squad to be proud of .I've been following Pompey for sixty years and it's so very rare that everything comes together like This . Fans saved the club , but we chose the right people to sell to and take Pompey back to where we belong .

Started supporting Pompey more than 10 years ago. It has been a long, long wait. But so, so worth it.

Lost for words. When the third went in last night, I can't remember a noise like that for a very very long time, if ever, at Fratton. Seven years of hurt, and feeling like we had settled in League One, it really did feel like we would never leave. That's why that song really resonates. I've had a lump in my throat at times during the run in, and last night I was in tears when I got home. All we have asked for is a team that gives their all. My God this team give that and then some. They don't give up and are never beaten. We shouldn't have won last night, but this team did it. Again. Thank you to the Eisners. Thank you to Andrew Cullen. Richard Hughes, John Mousinho, the staff and the players. Roll on Saturday for the trophy presentation. Champions. Again!

Can't believe we're actually sitting here with promotion achieved, instead of our season fizzled out a month ago like it normally does! Fantastic effort by all the playing and managerial staff and of course the owners for making it possible.

What a night. The scenes after the game, the celebrations, the atmosphere, that winning goal that sent Fratton Park into total eruption. One of the best nights of my life. Up in the Fratton End holding up my scarf, singing We Are The Champions loud and proud, a moment I will never forget. To everyone involved with our fantastic club, the manager, the players, the recruitment team, the backroom staff and our wonderful owners the Eisners, and all our fantastic supporters, a massive well done and thank you for bringing joy and pride back to the people of Portsmouth. We had a few bumps in the road along the way but what a phenomenal ride this 2023/24 season has been. One that will live long in the memory. Up the blues 🔵 ⚪ 🔵 💙

I can't wait until: Fixtures are out for next season. 1st game What the Pompey fans have to say (the negative lot). You know who you are. A bit quiet of late hmmm. What a game the other night. What a huge achievement and now gives us an advantage over 2nd place n Wembley winner for next season. The Championship is so much stronger compared to the last time there. The owners, have been incredible, as have all management, support, backroom team and fans. I'm 60, but we will make Premiership again in my lifetime. That, i have no doubt. Btw, the infrastructure we now have is incredible. PUP (who are ya)
