BlueSkyMonitoring.com (first five patients free!) allows dentists to remotely monitor patients undergoing aligner treatment. Patients wear a scope and use an app to take scans of their teeth at designated times. Dentists can view these scans on the BlueSkyMonitoring platform alongside the 3D treatment plan.
The new functionality demonstrated in the video is the ability to automatically transfer data from BlueSkyPlan to BlueSkyMonitoring. This includes the 3D digital tooth setup for each aligner stage.
The video then goes through a step-by-step guide on how to transfer data from Blue Sky plan to Blue Sky monitoring. Here are the main steps:
1. In Blue Sky plan, complete the digital aligner plan.
2. Choose the option to continue to export.
3. Select the option to export models only.
4. Click export and a dialogue box will appear asking if you would like to order the liners.
5. Choose yes or no and scroll down to the bottom of the panel.
6 Check the checkbox for activate remote monitoring for this patient.
7. Click export.
8. The software will confirm that you do not want to add any platforms or identifiers to the models. Click yes to proceed.
9. Choose a location to save the models on your computer.
10. The software will export the models.
11. A form will then appear to set up the patient in Blue Sky monitoring. Fill out the patient information.
12. Review and modify the treatment information on the next screen as needed.
13. Set up the patient scan schedule and what type of scans they will be prompted to perform.
14. Click finish. The software will upload the relevant STL files to the Blue Sky monitoring platform.
The video concludes by showing how the patient is now listed in BlueSky Monitoring and the dentist can see the timeline and schedule for the patient's aligner treatment.
