Unfortunately, he most likely won't come back as he's from sonic X, which is a series that is considered non Canon.

@@jbbajangamer yah. It was confirmed yrs ago that surtain things were canon from sonic x season 3. Those were two of them but no one seems to remember that. It was only after an official canon piece of artwork of tails with cosmo’s plant and tailstube came out that people started to realize.

I may or may not have a concept for how they should transform into dark sonic. 1 let the end break the barrier. 2 you must have 700 or above rings. 3 a cutscene similar to super sonic 2s transformation will happen with a extra aura boost. 4 there you now have dark sonic. (Not real. It’s just a concept or idea)

It was Ian McShane just voicing Dark Sonic. It was Ian McShane is played that voicing character of that Sonic's transformation form of Dark form. Did that Dark Super Sonic's Rage (voiced by Ian McShane) can beating and defeating Supreme/The End. He sounds like Tai Lung from the sound character at Kung Fu Panda (2008) did Ian McShane is the one to voiced that Sonic's form while he was anger or Darker or Rage or Obssessedful Or what's that? Or... Outraged? I don't know maybe Rampageful.

Are we all gonna agree that dark super sonic couldn't beat the end? Its generally just a recolored super sonic that's pissed off asf, its not stronger than normal super sonic and would most likely loose

Well considering what dark sonic is, he's made from the fake chaos emeralds right? So, it's basically a dulled down, less powerful version of super sonic.
