Great video and project. I really like the clarity of the app interface. Your Exploring Arduino book is still my favourite micro-controller / electronic project book. Glad to hear your doing well and building new stuff.

This is amazing. Most exercise machines are way overpriced. This field is definitely ripe for disruption by clever open source projects like this one. I hope you will continue to develop, document, and share this project.

nice project but if anyone is interested in doing this I would recommend buying a zwift compatible turbotrainer(tacx, wahoo, elite) tho those can get quite pricy

What if you could plan a route in a map, extract the change in elevation from google earth and use that to change the resistence of the bike? I dont have any idea if it is possible just a few days ago i decided to start learning to code

yes, I think this is a great idea! I had a similar thought. If I have time, I plan to implement something like that in the future.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if you digitized your showerhead and bathroom faucets, lol.

good idea. I'll add that to my list!

You are unbelievable. You need sell on Kickstarter.

Mid-rolls ads are evil - so I'm gone.
@sciguy143 жыл бұрын
Yikes, I agree with you. I didn't realize that KZfaq enabled them by default. Removing them now.
@chriswesley5943 жыл бұрын
@@sciguy14 Now THAT is impressive! Yes, they recently announced a deadline before which you could turn off the default that midrolls would be allowed, but it looks like you missed it and now you'll need to turn them off on every single video or at least from now on. YT is being Evil with a smile on its face and a ukulele backing track. Business as usual then.
