Bizarre Creations ceased operations in 2011 and the game isn't on the marketplace anymore, I don't think they have the licenses to sell the game again. (e.g. music copyright)

@@robbrobb325 Exactly what I was thinking. Microsoft will own this IP when the deal closes. I know they were technically done with backwards compatibility because of how difficult it was due to licensing issues with many games, but now a huge step is essentially erased by default now that they own the IP. I doubt Activision ever even considered renewing the licenses for this game because they never seemed to give a shit about any game that didn't sell a shit ton of copies. Microsoft has made a lot of cult games available again, but who knows. It's not like they've ever made PGR backwards compatible even though they own it. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for telling me. I've never played this game, but I like racing without power-ups because I like some realism in games. Like racing without power-ups where it feels realistic and more fun, in my opinion. Especially the AI being on a hard difficulty without power-ups where it's like an actual realistic competition😎

it wasnt marketed very well (i remember finding footage of the game by sheer chance, while looking through stuff for Portal 1 that led me to Split/Second and its E3 gameplay) so, much like ONRUSH, even though everyone who knows about the game LOVES the game, not many people heard about it :(
