taveon timmons I think it's a combination of Graham leaving and the sound weirdly resembling Gorillaz a bit too much for Blur fans. I absolutely love the album some of Blur's best songs are on the album.

it's a great album, but it sounds more like a Damon solo album than a Blur album

Vseslav Botkin Yeah, without the chemistry and creative clashing Damon had with Graham (not to mention his guitar work) the band doesn't really sound like Blur.

Maybe is because I have seen thousands of Blur/Damon’s videos but I don’t know why here he is felt a bit darker… like he’s fading out with these two marvelous songs… (Maybe the effect of the No Graham era….)

I think Blur peaked here and unfortunately it was without Coxon. I notice that Ambulance was off the set list on their recent tour, wonder why? Perhaps Albarn is unable to hit those notes now.
