This actually ruined Blur for me

This is telling. As soon as Dave leaves the room the other guys start cooperating. That’s how you can tell there’s a dysfunctional dynamic in the group. Dave is a bully, and the others probably don’t agree with how he treats others but they’re too afraid to stand up to him. This was fascinating to watch. Overall, they’re like a group of school children.

These guys make it easy for Nard to be the coolest guy in the room.

Met Nardwuar in person once. He is exactly in person as he is on camera. I was emotional cause I was a huge fan of Nardwaur and he said not to be nervous cause he loves it when people come up and say hi. He’s such a gentle human being. The dude gave me a bro hug and a photo op before we left. Such a nice dude I cant stress enough. He’s a stronger, kinder and better man than I. So to see this, not only am I brokenhearted, but I’m also confused as to how anyone could do something like that to him. Just the vibe alone when he walks into a room gives off a wholesome vibe. Bullying nardwaur is like punting a kitten. I just cant see how anyone could have any capacity to bully him. Even if i was paid a million dollars I dont think i could ever come close to bring myself to even trying to agitate the dude. The Dave fella is on a whole other level of rude

At first it seems like they are all on board with being difficult but then Dave takes it too far. The way they are all laughing rather than cooperating or at least trying to settle things makes it just look like bullying.

Blur should've done their homework. It's a complete honour for Nardwuar to interview you. You'll never have an interviewer as interested in you as him. He was finding out obscure facts about bands before there was even the internet. Sometimes he even goes out and buys rare presents for the people he interviews. If you bully Nardwuar, how do you treat all the others who don't care about you as much?

I have noticed that alot of bands/artists that Nardwuar interviewed in the 90s had to have a super egotistical and arrogant front compared to artists of the last 10 - 15 years, which treat him completely the opposite. Blur aren't the only ones to be dicks to him, but this is certainly the cringiest case of rock star attitude that he has had to deal with. Young artists now are overjoyed when they get a chance to be interviewed by Nardwuar and treat him with nothing but love. So weird how the attitudes of different generations of artists are worlds apart.

Holy shit, this was really uncomfortable to watch.

I like blur's music but their behavior in this video makes me feel uncomfortable. Because it reminds me some bad memories when I was in school.

They think they look cool but they just end up looking like total losers because nardwuar has literally never done anything to anyone.

What I have trouble understanding is why those two just stood around and did nothing whilst Dave was literally bullying Narduwar. And one of them even participated in Dave’s shenanigans. If a good friend of mine was acting out of line like that and bullying someone or just being a douchebag in some other way, I’d straighten him out right there.
