I was so excited to try this deck, and the first 3 opponents were 3 ultra-aggro. As in 1 drop, coin, 1 drop on turn 1.

Sounds like you drew bad if aggro won all 3 times. The soul Fragments are fantastic against aggro decks if you include the AOE soul Fragments card.

Tour guide is quite broken in Warlock, but it's still not as strong as librarian back in the days Since technically you're paying 1 mana for a 1/1 and battle cry deal to damage to yourself and draw a card and librarian was 1 mana 2/1 with the same effect and it didn't even use the hero power.

On the other hand, you can save Tour Guide's effect for next turn for Vulture or Darkglare & 0 mana tap.

Tour Guide is pretty crazy in Odd decks as well. In Odd Paladin with coin and Rightous Passage, you can now get 5 2/2s and 6 damage on turn 2!

The fact that the deck operates at low health makes it a bit nerve wrecking. I can see the highlights of people just accidentally killing themselves.

I was running a gandling/tekhan/erkh deck with the soul package and it's a blast. Still on the fence over crafting Malicia, though. She's good but I don't think I'd call her a crafting-tier card.

The expansion looks so I cool. It makes me want to get back into hearthstone but I have no cards from last last couple expansions so I don’t even know how much it would cost to get enough cards to be competitive.

If you haven't played for long enough you would get a deck for coming back. There are also 3 quests giving 2 Scholomance packs each. If you used to play, if you really want new cards, you could melt down old cards to craft new ones

I'm in the same boat. Love watching videos of current meta but haven't played since I think Kobolds expansion (the one where quests came out). Just seems too expensive to get back into. I quit as soon as they started rolling out expansions significantly faster because I could no longer afford to keep up

Try Sacrifice Demon Hunter - your blood heralds can get +20 / +20 , buff your dragon to summon 2 10 costs, and throw in taunt adjacent minions and the new robe card that makes them immune to spells and hero powers

Same thing with Druid. If you see overgrowth on 4 and you don't have 2 turns of heavy removal in hand you might as well move on to the next slide.

@@Gothstana right, I understand that. And that's why I said it was my personally most hated. I just prefer to play interactive games. Face hunter they just play their cards and hope they kill you before you can respond. At least Rez priest and druid are interactive games that can be won more than 1 way
