Shaun Hayes I ran Hex in my variation of this deck and found tons of uses for it in the Ashes of Outland meta. I thought of Plague because it could kill off some giant Druid boards, or at least deny draw from Guardian Animals.

​@@bird3713 same here. I use Hex AND Hagatha (the minion, not the hero). Those 2 cards saved my butt countless times.

bird3713 ... Hex isn’t Plague is it? Plague leaves them with a board of murlocs, and in this meta where it’s mostly small cheap minions kn the field, it doesn’t do much. They might lose +2+2 in stats but still have a board, it’s just bad. There is rarely a time where the enemy has a whole board of big units, so plague is rarely good. Hex is a complete different good card because most of the time only one big minion is played out a turn

Shaun Hayes I was thinking of turns where your opponent plays Kael’thas into Survival of the Fittest into Guardian Animals, or Ysera into lots of draw. That first one happened to me shortly before I made that comment, so that’s where I was coming from.

I believe it’s a bug with „buffing“ minions with a untargeted spell.

I heard it still has spellburst, it's just a visual bug where the icon disappears.

Any card with Spellburst whose stats are changed loses Spellburst, but only visually. The effect is still here.

Hearthstone rn is full of minor bugs for example Illucia bug when you get psychopomp from galakrond hero power after playing her you resummon minion from enemy pool.

no it did not just an visual bug happens alot if the minion is interactet with

a solid taunt with a quest completion, plus there's quite a bit of random spell generation so you will often get those big spells incidentally

I think Witchs would be overkill for healing unless of course you're seeing tons of aggro, I think Waste Warden + Plague of Murlocs is a staple for this nonsense though, and Plague hurts Libram so hard. Personally I love Wandmaker in Shaman especially, getting Missles or Earth Shock can swing druid/pally matchups so hard

@@xXThexTheifXx True, I hadn't thought of Plague. It also seems like it would be useful against Guardian Animals which is not a good matchup for this deck. You either need to draw the nuts to crush them in the early game or somehow beat them in the mid game (very unlikely, but possible with Zephrys or if you manage to get enough board presence through things like Kragg). All told, my winrate against that deck is about 40% or less so it definitely seems worth a shot. Libram Paladin is still at least an even matchup for the deck overall imo, as long as they run out of steam by the time the quest gets online. Blessing of Authority is a big problem in general, but other than that card and Alura highrolls the deck is not too difficult to deal with.

It's a graphical bug. It still had Spellburst, but the graphical icon gets removed when the health was changed. The same thing used to happen with Spellburst weapons after they lost durability, but that was fixed.

My guess is that it’s supposed to play off Vulpera Scoundrel or Instructor Fireheart, since they generate spells.

The deck can reliably generate spells on its own, from Ethereal Lackey, Instructor Fireheart, and Vulpera Scoundrel. Besides, it's another avenue for healing and is not meant to be played on curve most of the time.

I didn't see the stream, but maybe he had it orinally and then removed the spells and forgot the guy.
