You can always run a few beads of welds on the bolt in sub frame connectors. A Better torque arm would help you out as well then the weak stamp steel stocker

I'm about to do this same setup on my 2000 z28 and post the video....I already have a a few of the parts just waiting to free up some cash the do the rest.....Keep it up glad to see some new content creators like me working on the same vehicle platform, maybe we can do some colabs one day.

Haha hope my rear control arm bolts come out that easy, if they was anything like the fronts ill be a little pissed lol. But awesome tutorial😁

...very nice! love the car man! ...just watch those rear lower control arms, as they tend to destroy poly bushings over time ...but i love bmr stuff, got their springs on my 98

@@AllTimePerformance im just goin off what ive been told... i know several folks run the poly... but acording to sam strano (strano performance- highly recommend him & his buisness- hes autocrossed f bodys for decades & runs a suspension company -the dude knows his stuff) the rears can tear poly (on the front mount) due to the twist & bind factor... u might not ever have an issue with em if ur not pushing em hard, like autocrossing (?) but if u do, several comanies make a bushing that has a sperical internal ...wish i could remember who...?? ...maybe founders performance, cause i know they offer a lower arm with a pivioting bushing on the front of the lower rear arms... enjoying the build man, keep em coming, & thanx!

heavychevy383 yeah I almost bought the control arms that have the rotating metal end. But I heard they were noisy. I know of strano performance. I’ll be looking at his stuff more.

@@AllTimePerformance yeah, they make a sperical rod end, & ive heard the same thing that, theyre noisy... the ones im thinkin of (im tryin to remember where i saw em at?) are more of a rubber or deralin (sp?) bushing with a sort of rod end built into them thus no noise... but i do highly recommend strano performance & founders performance, great folks, great service, & very knowledgeable & helpful when i did the suspension rebuild on my 98 formula last year

& dude... i gotta say... that is a BEAUTIFUL car u got there!!! (oh, & since im pluggin buisnesses here... & no im not on anybodys payroll-haha! ...i also highly recommend ian kee of kee audio, & his cdt speakers for the fbody monsoon system... cdt is audiophile quality, its a no-brainer drop in for the 10 speaker monsoon system, that id betcha dollars to donuts ur car has, & im a bit of an audiophile wannabe, & im absolutly thrilled with mine!)
