I Hand Carved 12' Alligator Sculpture headed to TPC Louisiana for the PGA Zurich Classic. This sculpture is made using stainless steel, foam, fiberglass and recycled tires. This Famous Gator roams the fairways of the PGA tour and it was an honor to sculpt him. #carving #woodcarving #sculpture

Do you like Tire or Wood & Epoxy sculptures better?

Tire. I love trash being reused. Re the trouser situation: This is the exact reason why all of my clothing is 100 % cotton. Once I wore some fashionable jeans, containing elastane, and they melted to my thigh. Not nice.

On your last video I suggested that your sculptures were too perfect, too idyllic, impossibly flawless depictions of nature. Wow is this sculpture a departure from that. I absolutely love how this alligator looks. It's vivid, it's raw, it's unfiltered, exactly as nature can be. Great job mate.

The result is better than what i could have possibly imagined. While i'm not a fan of golf or its negative environmental impact on native ecosystems/biodiversity, i can still very much see just how much of an honor it was to have this commissioned by Zurich. What a spectacular feat. Truly cannot wait to see what you'll do next (as always). If i only had the money, i would love to commission you to sculpt me a piece of my original alien species. @@Easy_Going__ Aah! i didn't mean any disrespect to the piece by it, im awfully sorry. Also i wasn't aware of there being much environmental benefits. That's on me. Most things i've read on/heard of tend to focus on the loss of biodiversity with how much of the land gets turned from untouched prarie (with wild flowers and herbs and shrubs with their own fauna of course) into regularly trimmed grass and the heavy use of pesticides. Dear Heart! You inspired me!! For a long time, I've wanted a tire sculpture of a HUUUUGE snake I once saw posted on farcebk. It was coiled to strike and it was fearsome. Now, personally, i don't like snakes, but this snake was AWEsome! Stick THAT in your front yard and you'd have no need for an alarm system!! Making my own version would be right up my alley. By the way, I'll be 77, soon. And I'm just getting started. I'm learning shop equipment and I've got ideas. Oh, boy, do i have ideas!!! Thank you. Shalom and GOD Bless you. --jana, sun antonio, tejas

I watched the entire thing with the volume off. It was captivating just as a silent film. As a props and sets fabricator, I was very impressed with your budget materials, your long hours, and your commitment to simple elegance. It all paid off.

When you do tire projects.. Dap as a couple different colors in caulking.. They have black.. You could have saved yourself the time in painting all that white Caulk by using black caulk.. Your content keeps me engaged.. Awesome work.. I've been inching my way back into woodworking.. I'm a professional Painter by trade.. 20 years under my belt.. Before painting, I was a framer.. I thought myself how to paint, so I didn't have to be outside in winter time in the cold building houses.. Lol.. It was my passion before painting.. Your videos and 3 more guys I've been watching sparked that Inner builder I have in me.. Back to the wood.. CHEERS..
