Remastered version of the most popular BMW video on the web, now available on the Supercar Challenge channel. Rolf van Os at the TT-Circuit of Assen in his STW-BMW 320 during a Supercar Challenge race in May 2002, starting from the back of the grid, overtaking the whole field in a couple of laps. I was there on the main grandstand and I still remember how my ears were ringing for the rest of the day and even still when trying to sleep. Was worth it though! Also that Lotus Esperit had some epic backfires, especially on the down shifts. I don't remember who drove that though.

Would love to know why the E36 wasn’t so competitive in the German and British Championship. Sure it won a lot of races, but few championships in those two series. My favorite STW ever

Still the S42 engine, but revised a couple of times. The previous owner just told us the car is now in the UK, in the hands of a new owner.
