BMW 330d 0-60mph Acceleration

12 жыл бұрынSeeing as my BMW E90 LCI 330d 6MT has only a month left with us before I receive my F30 328i Luxury 8AT, I would like to draw a comparison between the two as they both have the same rated output of 245ps, although my E90 is diesel and obviously, the F30 is petrol. The car is on a slight incline. The six cylinder sounds great, but the 4 pot N20 doesn't sound bad at all! This car is so awesome!! :D Enjoy, it's actually more like a 0-70mph video but whatever.
I'm certain my returning viewers can take solace from my Parkinson's camera work, but I really was being thrown around this time! One day, I will upload a steady video, but for now, it's in the Michael J Fox style.
E90 LCI 330d N57 - 245ps 520NM (6MT)
F30 328i N20 - 245ps 350NM (8AT)

Awesome aren't they! Really missing my 330d now :'( I get my 328i on Monday though and that'll be awesome!! Plus I've really gone to town on the options list :D No doubt I'll spam KZfaq with videos when it arrives.

The engine's red line is at 5000rpm as it is diesel and in 2nd gear, that equates to approx 60mph.

changed 3 gears to go only at 60 mph qith a bmw 3000 cc?? my 1200cc 80hp in the end of the second gear go around 52 mph

The problem is, I didn't change 3 gears to get to 60mph, the car can achieve 60mph in 2nd, brushing the limiter. Often, the higher the engine capacity, the lower the rev limiter is set at. Look at the 20d's rev limiter (of around 5500-5700rpm) and then my 30d's which is 5000rpm. I fail to see what you're getting at mate :)

i understand is a diesel but is always a 3 thousand cc.. my 1200 cc red line is on 5000 rpm too not 7000 like the micra
