Mine does this, it only on warm restart and it has to be once the engine has been left for maybe 20-40mins max otherwise it doesn’t do it. So strange. Sometimes it’s rough and stalls! Then start fine.

hi mate @Daniel Bartle I have a 3 series 2012 and retrofitted adaptive xenons from halogen. HBA is not working as yours. Is working when nobody on the road. Do I need height level sensors for this function to work? I have KAFAS2 camera from factory for road sign detection. I'm in UK as well. Thanks, Alex

Where can I find the unlock number?

Can you clear fault codes stored from this menu? Every week I get this “fuel tank pressure temperature” error code and the check engine light comes up. Very annoying I have to clear the fault code using my diagnostic tool but if it is possible to clear it from this menu would be great.

Mine sounds exactly the same what was the issue??

Hi, when i want to unlock menu, I sum up latest 5 numbers from vin and when i want to confirm code it kick me back to locked menu where are identification, system test etc. It won't to unlock. Any advice? Thank you

Most of the people say it is the timing chain. But after replacement some people still have the same noise. The second and last option what the problem could cause is the chain from the oil pump. It gives the same sound as in the video.
