Hey people. For all those who are saying the power is not good. I have the same bmw 335 i Xdrive from 2012 (e92) pretty much the same from the video. The car has a catless downpipe and intercooler and is currently running MHD stage 2+. It was tested on the same type of dyno and made 292whp and about 370 at the crank (quite a bit of lost power due to being Xdrive). Here with the uprated turbo they made 430, which to me seems quite good. as if they use a proper fuel they will make like 550ish at the crank.

What year is this model? Pwg doesn’t have any legit stand alone hpfp upgrade. Seems like it’s an xi model from the axels in the front too

Isn't 430 wheel a little low for stage 2 pure? On 93? I've seen this setup at 460 to 480 on 93 with a custom tune.

What hpfp are you running? All of the companies said they don’t make them for the older pwg models.

I think he said fx150 hpfp. It’s weird on how it works that late e series like the 2013 model share the same hpfp as the f series.

RS3’s and lots of other cars do fine with PWG’s. I don’t see why it would be worse on a 335.

Different platforms, it really comes down to boost control on these cars, the PWG doesn’t offer a precise style of boost control so trying to maintain a steady psi makes it difficult, it was a very common thing on the E chassis pwg cars. Ewg cars actually make about 15-30whp just on stock tunes with the better boost control!

thats 500 crank hp. awd loses ton of power through the drive train. RWD prolly make 450-470whp and thats on 93 octane. That's within expectation.

Like Prince said this is pretty standard for a PWG PS2 and 93 octane. The TQ was 470-480 which is pretty legit. This setup is octane limited, once he runs e85 (which he’s setup for) he’ll be 500+ whp

He also said it’s an n55 which are a little less responsive than n54’s in terms of power figures before and after part installation

@@NickRidgers not really. This is only true for stock turbo N55 vs stock turbo N54. Once turbo is upgraded it’s identical
