I have a 335i n54 tuned stage 2Plus downpipes bigger intercooler charge pipe e85 mix still stock turbos tho... it's a torque monster.. had a roll race with a 2018 m4 and won they r such a sleeper..... n54 power....

I'm a BMW guy through and through but that CAKA 3.0 sounds better than an n54/55, whether modded or stock. NIce races gents !

Just bought a stock S5 & I love that bark. I wish they had taken them on twisty roads because it sticks like shit to a blanket. May have to get an intake mod so I can hear that supercharger whine. All the best..........

Not 2012 335i, N55 is very reliable, more so than Audi s4 because transmission will go boom after 100k on the s4. I have n55 engine, it has less potential than n54 but doesn’t have HPFP or turbo issues.

Had a N54 335i. Would take the BMW over the Audi any day. Tune the 335i and it can destroy several other cars without breaking the bank.

V8 is slower than 3.0T S4. It’s underrated, so is 335i.

No that's not correct! The S5 is a german car. So if u wanna know since when a car came with another engine plz look at german information and u will see that the V6 was available since 2009. In other countries maybe not but it's also possible to import a car

@@mpower3163 show me any evidence that a 2012 S5 Coupe came with a V6. The Cabriolet was available with it, as was Sportback (though not in the US), but not the Coupe. Not until 2013

Dont know what the hp is on both cars. I dont think hp on both cars is close. If numbers are closef it would be a better race. BMW 335i's are known to put down high hp on stock turbos. Audi has to max his mods to hang. I would still take the Audi. But be needs dual pulley upgrades and atleast a stage 2+. Once be does this, the race changes

@@TheAutomotiveLife No it does not, we do this stuff for a living. What planet are you living on? A tuned 335i we know is a monster, at stock it's not great. The S5 wins almost everytime, just not on track from the tests and plays we've had.

The newer 335i would not, even the 340i couldn't stand a chance against the old S5. But...the S5 and 335i we're referring to are last gen and on the ROAD not track. That's the comparison and tests me and my team have done.
