Hi☺️ i have checked all my vacum lines and all seem to be good. But i get no vac to my turbo, some of the vac lines are a bit thin some places can that be the issue?

well in that case, the usual suspect is the pressure converter (solenoid valve) which gets stuck and cannot regulate the vacuum correctly. In case you have already changed that, simple do a smoke test your main vacuum line. i did it recently using a castronica pocket smoke machine. just 35 euros.

usually those vacuum hoses crack and they all need to be replaced approx. 3 meters, after the electric vacuum valve from the egr you only have vacuum at some moments not always, make sure that vacuum tank on the vacuum line of the turbine is not broken .

Mine has a I light blue smoke when being started n the Rev neddle sometimes is inconsistent.. No power specially when going on low gears. But sometimes the power just kicks in..

maf sensor, unplug it and go for a test drive if it's better then that's the issue

Salut, furtun de vacuum poti gasi la orice magazin de piese auto, ei il vand ca fiind furtun combustibil, iti recomand GATES sau Rapro (poti sa incerci si original este undeva la 100 lei m, si ai nevoie cam de 3 m), cu camasa textila pe exterior. dimensiunea este de 3.2mm la interior si 7mm la exterior. Daca te pot ajuta cu altceva imi poti trimite un mesaj pe whatapp la numarul 0766 52 27 67. Drumuri bune iti doresc.

@@JHAMS-007-car-repair Mulțumesc frumos pentru răspuns. La mine e de 3,5mm pe exterior și 2mm pe interior un E46 din 2002 320 d compact..am găsit pe Ebay e la 24€ metru dar credeam ca poți gasi mai ieftin... Mulțumesc frumos încă odată.

My 320D e46 m47 old engine model 2001 , is white smoke , burning diesel smell not oil , loss of power won’t go over 2/3rpm and is restricted, I’ve changed fuel filters I’ve changed fuel pump thinking many’s not getting enough fuel , I blanked egr and even cut out catalytic converter, turbo and injectors are perfect what could this be ?

when you blanked egr, did you also program it out from the ECU? if not then you should do that as well, otherwise you will also get white smoke. I currently have the same problem and I am getting charge-air pressure deviation of more than 85 mbar through the MAP sensor which I checked through DIS software. I think the problem is a vacuum leak . I will check them thoroughly this weekend and let you know if it worked. I have been diagnosing this issue for a few months and now I know that before ordering new sensors, I should first check the simple things as the video suggests

check your air filter , if you got a small aftermarket come filter it can cause that, gets stuck at like 3k rpm & causes 3ff0

Hi just had an engine replaced and they used my old turbo which was working before. But for some reason the car doesn't have power going uphill and i don't even hear the turbo whistle sound like before. Someone said its vacuum lines but i dnt know were to begin. Bmw e46 320d

Yes, there can be a problem with the vacuum hoses, pay attention to the gas purifier.

When I’m driving I’ll put my foot down in 2nd gear and turbo almost cuts off sometimes and I won’t be able to use it but other times will give me full or 80% power and be okay, any ideas what this could be?

My m47D20 e60, has turbo lag and it pulls at 2,500/3,000 RPM i checked the turbo and it was completely fine .. DPF and CAT are out the only issue that i have when i read it is GLOW PLUGS 1/4 is alive.. Usually they have a role in the performance of the engine but im not so sure ..

I have same issue, the car dies not pull before 2500rpm and the turbo is new same as dpf it’s not clogged

I have the same symptoms. Changed glow plugs as they had a fault stored. Dpf is showing as blocked but even with it removed I have the same lack of power. Turbo seems ok, it was replaced not long ago by the last owner. I have "charge pressure deviation" fault stored.

* UPDATE -Swirl flaps removed Cleared MAP sensor Clear Throttle and Egger (Eger isolated) When it is with Egger on, although clean, it inflates at 2.5 when it is isolated, it inflates at 2.0 RPM |Cleaned intake pipes Relay and glow plugs replaced The engine has gained some power and performances .. Whatever tomorrow i'll do CHIP TUNE..

Hello, my e39 530d has no power from 1800 rpm and 2500 rpm, from 2800 rpm it has a lot of power. Valve solenoid is ok and vacum hoses, what else need to check? Egr pipes ?

I don't know the configuration of these engines, make sure there are no vacuum losses, especially at the vacuum compensator. There may still be problems with the turbine's vacuum control actuators.

@@shahrose2383 maybe it has Flowmeter broken, but when i hit the pedal to metal, at 2800 rpm it accelerate very fast. I will try the Flowmeter, thanks
