It is an n20. It is basically a straight pipe. Didn't bother with a custom muffler.

You most likely will get them with a high flow cat. But I first got them when I took off the muffler.

Muffler delete, can easily do that. DP helps a lot

I got them simply after I got the MPE, you can get a resonator delete along with it to make it a little bit louder. I also get pops and burbles with bm3

I get them easily and very loud with the complete AWE race/track exhaust. Stock downpipe + bm3

The downpipe was 280. Muffler and res was 250. The racechip was 700. But I would try to find a cheaper used one.

I would get a tune first such as bootmod3 and go from there. If you still want it to be louder I would go for the res delete and if that isn't enough them muffler. I do get tired of it sometimes but the tune helps.

The smell is not really that bad. It may be a bit stronger for a convertible. For sound, it really depends on how loud you like your car to be, but I would not say it is an annoying sound. I would recommend removing your muffler and having the catless downpipe installed. If that’s not loud enough then remove the resonator for a more raw sound.

If you want a sound difference get a bootmod3 and keep just your res from what I know it won’t have as bad drone and the bm3 gives you a lot more options I had the racechip and ended up upgrading to a bm3

The racechip does not change the sound. I have recently switched over to bootmod3 and I really like it. I would start with muffler and downpipe and see how you like it before taking off the resonator.

To be honest I would hold off on the res delete unless you get a tune to control the cold start.

As long as you have the same engine yes. The tune doesn't make it sound any different. I would suggest you do downpipe and muffler at the same time see how you like it, and then decide on the resonator. The resonator really makes it a whole lot louder.

I was gonna get a resonator delete but the exhaust guy doing this said it sounds terrible on the N20 once you take off the resonator.

I think you should be able to hear some burbles just not as loud or raw as it would be if you were to get both the muffler and resonator delete. If not you can always get bootmod3 and tune the sound of the car.

@@fastmen3065 Now that I've experienced the muffler delete for 2 weeks, I wanna get a catless DP like you have in the video to get more vibrant pops and burbles for the exhaust.

If you want burbles I suggest getting Bootmod3. You can get some burbles from the catless downpipe but if you want those really loud pops bootmod3 is the way.

@@fastmen3065 to do aggressive burbles on bm3 do u need to go stage 2? was thinking of doing a catless dp + res and muffler delete but don’t know a lot abt tuning. would that be enough or what else do i need to be able to set the burbles to max aggression? i have a b48 430i

@@RPGGamingNetwork100 i had a b48. Completely stock will give you burbles. But a flash tune can make it pop more. Look on my channel i have a few vids

No. The muffler usually sits towards the back of the car and the resonator is kinda in the middle-back part.

Yes, it will work for your car. Just go to the VRSF website, type in your car and it should give you the correct downpipe. We are pushing over 300 hp mainly due to the RaceChip GTS Black (47+hp) and the VRSF Catless downpipe (20-25+hp).

Yes it is very loud. If you get a different tune like bootmod3, you can delete the cold start and it's a lot more quiet.
