BMW 535d 2005' 370 hp tunned - Urban / City Driving + Drift POV video part 1

Finally some POV driving in the city of 535d e61 2005 272 hp originally with the following mods:
- Wagner intercooler
- DPF, cat off
- swirl flaps removed
- Pipercross filter
- Gearbox stage 1 remap
- Engine Remap to 370 hp and 750 nm
Some action(acceleration,drift) @07:20 and @09:12. The rest of the moment you will find by yourself :).
A great car to drive, the only downsides are that it is not manual and does not sound like a v8 :)

good driver nice car 👍 here in Zagreb we have a very long road connecting it with highways from both sides and you can hit 300+ easily with a car or more on a bike during the night

the manual mode in this changes also gears automatically but just later?

If it is stock without gearbox remap - yes it changes them on the redline automatically. But if there is a gearbox remap limiter can be removed and this is the case with this 535d

Hi good pov of the 535d . Is your car dpf deleted ? I have e61 535d and it smokes quite a lot and has no dpf I'm wondering if I can get it better with different map or if I need something else its hard to tell as it runs so well just smoke under hard acceleration whole way down road

Yes it has dpf off. If the remap is well made it should smoke really little under full throttle, also leaking nozzles can produce much fuel at certain levels which also can cause unburned fuel and smoke

@@themorronshacks thankyou for your reply . And ok so possibly injectors or bad map it's hard to know where to start . I was thinking of doing leak off test with the bottles I would guess if it's less fuel on some bottles that would mean that its injecting more un needed fuel but this is only possible to do at idle with no load

@@themorronshacks I just had stock tune put on with dpf and egr delete and now it does not smoke so my problem was all to do with a bad remap .

I envy you the feeling from behind the wheel, though, that´s about it. The sound of diesel and bi-turbo is so calm can´t be really transmited on a video just perfect acceleration makes a presence of the car, unlike the E39 540i or E34 525i which I go over and over again to listen to a sound of a real car..

@@themorronshacks term Bi-turbo refers to a turbocharged engine where two identical turbochargers sits parallel in engine bay, that is very common on V6 and V8 engines....twin turbo term refers to the engine which has two turbos.smaller for low rpm,and bigger turbo for high rpm...e60 535d is inline 6 with twin turbo...

@@Virusiuks ok friend regarding exact terminology you are right but in real world bi means two. So two turbochargers sequencially is also bi but in cars they call it twin thats just terminology
