Here you can see how to replace a battery in a new BMW 7series G11, and its encoding / registration in the car computer, the car is from 2018 but the original battery gave up may have had many hours of consumption without the necessary charges, or may have been a showroom car where he spent a lot of time on a charger who knows ? (and the car is not often used by the current owner)
Yes I can see the charging / discharge cycles and battery capacity in the car history , but it doesn't matter anymore , as it had to be replaced because it no longer had the ability to maintain proper voltage

Greetings from South America, excellent videos. I would ask you to make one, as soon as you can, in which you use the NCS expert and explain step by step the coding procedure (not the registration) when changing the battery. In this procedure, the CAS module where the battery data is registered must be coded (type -normal, GSM, etc. or its capacity - 80ah, 90ah, etc.).Thanks.

Thanks for the video. The 50A fuse on the battery for the air suspension compressor is broken but can't find the same fuse. Could you help maybe?

Salut am și eu o problema la același seria 7…. Am 40,000km și semnalizările nu îmi merg , n-am absolut nicio eroare in bord , stergatoarele merg automat ca nebunele , nu pot nici pe alea sa le mai controlez și volanul la fel , numai pot sa îl controlez , ce ar putea avea ? In rest toate merg ca la carte , sa fie coloana volanului vreo siguranta arsa sau bateria slaba ?

14:07 Does it matter if you select its NO if its replacement is an OEM BMW Battery? The reason I selected NO, was because it didnt let me go further when I selected NO in 14:05 (Is there a supplier number). So I had to to go back and pretend its a non-BMW battery

My current bmw 750li 2016 battery reading is 12.33 v, do i need to change it ??? Thanks

I believe anything above 12 is good. You only start seeing battery errors in ISTA once it drops below 12 or so. Also, the 105 AGM batteries are very reliable and can easily do 10 years. Most people just change them earlier for the sake of having a refresh

Also I have a snap on d10 I can’t find a battery reset on it. I replaced it in a 2018 bmw alpina B7. Does it have to go to the bmw dealer to get reset?

I see you clicked on "enter battery of same capacity" but my F01 BMW original battery has 90Ah and there are no batteries like that on the market. Could I use and register a Varta G14 with 95Ah instead? Thanks in advance

I thought ISTA would ask you about the *capacity* (and maybe technology) of the new battery. Or maybe it doesn't when you say it's an original one?

Hello, if you need to charge the new battery I advise you not to use that battery send it back and buy another one from different place

​@@MOvidiu, Salut am si eu o problema, masina este un bmw g11 2017 si cand stationez mai mult de exemplu 20/30 min, masina se ridica la maxim adica suspensia si nu o pot lasa jos dar daca incep sa conduc. Si daca iar stationez masina iar se ridica la maxim!

Hi, why you didn't told the viewers that after coding a new battery, the car should be closed and stay for about three hours, so that the ibs sensor can measure the capacity of the new battery?

Hello, i didn't told that becouse is not needed, only when you reset adaptations you need to send the cars in sleep mode and is not needed 3 hours 😉 the sleep mode is achieved with istaD in couple of minutes, and the most important thing is that this is not a DIY video, this is a video where I show you how I replace a battery 😀

Hello , The BMW 7 series is the flagship from BMW if you want the best in comfort and safety Buy it !! they are superior ! But they are very expensive to maintain and quite fragile !

@@MOvidiu Thank you for you answer. I am driving Audi for 10 years now and my A6 has 400k kilometers and my A7 280k kilometers without any bigger repairt. Now i am a little bit afraid to switch to bmw because i have heard that they often break down. But who nows maybe i will give it a try :D

Salut Ovidiu, imi poti spune si mie unde se afla unitatea TPMS pe un g12 , am oprit masina in timp ce se reseta presiunea in roti si acum nu mai imi finalizaza resetarea.

salut . depinde e anul de fabricatie al masini e in habitaclu sau sub masina , dar de curiozitate daca ai afla unde e modulul cu ce te ajuta ?

@@MOvidiu salut, anul de fabricatie e 2016 Am oprit masina in timp ce se resetau senzorii de presiune si de atunci sistemul se opreste la 49% si mi se pare o coincidenta prea mare ca sa fie un senzor fara baterie tinand conta ca Nu am avut problema Asta pana sa opresc masina in timp ce se resetau senzorii , ma gandeam sa decuplez modulul si sa il conectez iara sa vad daca finalizeaza resetarea dupa deconectare dar tinand cont Unde se afla modulul cred ca e mai bine sa o duc la bmw. Oricum, ms de info👍

Yes it’s Chinese clone and yes you can do it with simple ENET or Dcan cable.

Foarte repede l-a lăsat bateria eu am aceiasi baterie ca cea prezentata de tine și ii fabricata in 2013 . Bine înțeles trebuie sa o schimb si eu saptamana asta:( dar totuși are câțiva ani

Salut Lucian Anistoroae , da asa e de obicei tin inte 6 -7 si chiar 10 ani , dar doar cele care vin din fabrica ,asta cum am scris si in descriere poate a fost masina de showroom :)

Why did you register it as original replacement battery? It's not even same technology as you replaced AGM with flooded cell. On automatic start-stop vehicle non the less! Your other videos seem reputable but this is a complete hatchet job.

Hello! I think you didn't watched the video correctly! I have replace a AGM battery with AGM battery ( for your general knowledge all and absolutely ALL BMWs cars are equipped with AGM batteries as STANDARD from 2005!! except some M series that have Li-Io ) and about register an aftermarket battery as OE I always do that because BMW will treat different an aftermarket battery and unfortunately the treatment will be discriminatorily ! next time be more carefully !

@@MOvidiu My apologies. At closer looking, it is indeed Silver Dynamic AGM battery, not regular. Why does BMW's power management handle non-OE batteries differently? As far as I know, original batteries receive higher peak voltage and current. I don't know if there are specific requirement for OE batteries to handle this and could it have detrimental results on non-OE batteries if not properly registered?
