If you have BMW with the 6 cylinder m54 engine and you need to replace the DISA Valve this is the right video. In this video we will show you how to remove and replace DISA Valve on BMW. as much as I like e46 bmws, its genuinely disappointing to see them cheap out and use so many plastic parts that can ruin the car. the DISA valve and the coolant reservoir are the main two I can think of, but at least the disa you can upgrade to an aluminum one

Where are you guys located? I a have a 2000 dodge Dakota 4.7. everything works and fluids topped off and I don’t see any leaks. It overheats in surface roads but not on the highway. A need help. If you’re not to far away from Las Vegas. Hopefully.

Hey guys. Trying to figure out where the DISA valve is on my E65 750i (2003) and what the part number is and it seems like the web has no information about that at all. All the parts I find are not compatible. The dealership could not find the part either. Does the E65 not have a DISA valve or it's just called something else? Figured I'd ask you as you seem to know all about BMW.

if the valve mechanism is fine its much better to buy an upgrade kit for yours. It involves a bit more work but it replaces the failure prone parts with aluminum and drastically reduces the failure rate
