BMW E31 How -To SUPER-BRIGHT FTP MAIN BEAMS

3 жыл бұрынHere's how to get brilliant FTP Main Beams that really project way down the road. Using Third-Generation Philips H3 LED's (the only ones that fit in the FTP) you can make an FTP that's really useful and matches the LED sidelights.

4000 Lumens LED: I cannot recommend the new LED yet, wait for further news once I have been on touch with the distributor
We also look at a like-for-like replacement for the H3 Halogen that is good for use in countries that don't use the FTP's as Main Beams - not as good but a very simple replacement.

Yes, by either getting hold of a Euro lighting module or reprogramming it

Unfortunately, as I show in the next video, although the company I went with showed the correct units - they actually sent something that wouldn't fit!

Maybe off topic, but HIDs have about a 3000 hour lifespan. My Z4 was dangerous at night when I bought it, new bulbs transformed it.

No, I use Halogens (Osram Nightbreaker) in the low beams and fogs - everything else is LED's - all explained here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e9OAi7V5ytfReKc.html
