Part 3 guys is finally here. Wow this one took a while to make. I appreciate the patience boys as I am shooting and editing all of this by myself.
We got some very important pieces off of the car and placed some very important ones back on. A freshly cleaned and upgraded oil pan with New Drain Bung and Baffle installed. We got the oil Pump nut properly secured to the Oil pump AND we got the old restrictive cats out of the car for good to make way for our Beautiful Turbo Manifold.

I'm an aircraft mechanic and let me tell you, 8/10 people can't safety wire properly even after years of working with it. So cut yourself some slack, you did a good job considering you had no experience. Looking forward to more episodes, so keep them coming!

Anytime working on my E46 is an exercise is patience… I’m sure you felt the same way doing all this. It’s always something small and the whole project gets put on hold 😂

Lmao that is an understatement my man. If there is one thing i’ve learned through these last two is just put it down and come back to it after a break. Always clears me up a bit lol Series though that little freakin wire 😭 lol

I was doing a lot of finicking around with the wastegate at first and then I just threw that out the bin and welded the wastegate on the turbo exhaust housing. I've had no issues with boost creep and I do not regret doing it that way. Saved me a big headache trying to make piping around everything.

@@pythondon Yeah I have mine just going under the car. It is loud when it’s open but with the windows up you barely notice it. It’s pretty easy to run recirculating when the wg is on the turbo tho.

@roki4155 Thank you bro. Ep. 6 im taking bumper off, re mounting the manifold and turbo and gonna look at routing seriously then. Will definitely consider this route cause its super tight rn with all the lines etc.

Oh man Im sorry brother, that was a huge fear of mine as it would have slowed the project down a whole ton. I knew when i bought this car it wasn’t from up north so no rust which i knew would help when it was time to work on it you know

You want to start at the end of the safety wire with that tool and twist it, That's why it broke on you. But other than that you did a good job with it. This is a must have for the Engines. I've owned a few of these Engines and I've witnessed first hand what can happen. I also have used the same Engine mount bracket that you have in this video and you can make it work but you have to use a hammer haha. I love the work you're doing here and I look forward to the next video!

Thanks for the Luvv brother! Look up K64 Performance. Bunch of manifolds for different set ups. I went with the AC one non-twinscroll

Dude neither of the blades can spin "first", they're connected via a solid shaft so they can only spin at the same time (unless the shaft is broken). The energy to spin both turbines up comes from the velocity of the exhaust gases. I'm sure you understand it correctly but the explanation is misleading

Fml yeah you’re right they technically spin at the same exact time but i meant to show which blade is the one that begins the energy cycle I guess which in my head I thought of as “First” figuratively 🤷🏻‍♂️
