In this video we install the switchback angel eyes made for the e46 bmw. The car in the video is a 2003 BMW 325i Sedan with factory xenon lights. These angel eyes will fit other bmw models like the e39 as well. Go to the iJDMTOY website to double check fitment before purchasing a set for your car.

For real just picked up my first e46 325xi a year ago and been following since. "Yes I know a xi but got it will all records on repairs, enkei rims, yk740s, basicly 2k of stuff with car and paid 2k for it all"

I had these in my E46 for a few years. They were great. I just swapped them back to the standard. After one side stopped working. The only hard part if you call it hard was removing the fenders a bit to reach the side marker lights

I did this a few years ago, sellers instructions said it only worked splicing into the side indicators. I did it with the front indicators and it worked fine

On my set, I conformal coated the small circuit boards inside those aluminum modules to weather proof them.

Love this vid mate! when I installed my angels I only found vids that tap in some wire in near the ECU ... and thats a no go for me dont like just tapping in to shit haha so did the same thing you did only I used the "Garage door opener" fuse.. works like a charm and if i want to delete it just take it out easy peasy

I wired to the footwell light and garage door fuse and all it did was cause major feedback to the ignition preventing alarm setting and turning on ignition when doors open (keys out) and when setting alarm ignition would turn on!? So cannot find a way to allow the halos to work with daytime running lights and welcome lights functions can only wire into 1 function but the switchback works perfect.

if at all possible, could you also do more content on the M56 engine? my valve cover gaskets need to be replaced on my 04 325i sedan, and i think it has a different installation than the M54 engine, It would be super helpful with one of your walk throughs! Also If you might be able to give me advice on a leak i have, after it rains there is usually a wet spot, puddle/leak in my front passenger door/foot well. From what i have seen and read it could be related to my sunroof as a drain tube could come loose? are there any other drain points that could be affecting it?

If I wanted to use angel eyes instead of my front parking lights, should I put a resistor in the parking light bulb holder to trick the CANBUS into thinking that the bulb is still in there? I've been told to wire the +12 V connection to the rear number plate lights because the front parking lights use the same +12 V as the indicators, and this would cause the angel eyes to blink along with the indicators...

Hello bro nice video, i have question i have same angel eyes and i want to same but if i connect the red wire on PARK LIGHT instead of the fuse 13 and the white wire inside on interior footwell light , so my angel eyes turn on when i use the interrupt and when i move to " 0 " so they turn off? My question is when my car is unlocked and on position " 0 " , do the angel eyes turn on with the keys fade on? ( or they dont turn on with keys because the switch is on " 0 ") Thanks in advance 👍

Very helpful video. I'm curious now... I have pre face lift E46 coupe with the projector headlights. I can't find a kit that will have the harness to allow me to "fade" the headlights when I unlock it. Anyone got either the wiring diagram to the harness used in this video or have another solution to doing this?

This works as a welcome light, don't you need a module on the e46 sedan to make a welcome light? Or just plug the wire into the fuse box?

Hi silly question, doing this to my bmw e82, i see you connected the black cable which i assume is negative, then you ran white and red cable to the glove box, red cable is positve which you ran to the fuse box and white to the footwell light, when you activate your lights park lights/DRl or main beams will the angel lights come on or go off ? because the footwell light would be off so there will no power there and the fuse you connected surely wouldnt be running 24/7? im noob so this mite be silly question

Did you have to code them? I had my done professional and when the actual headlight comes on my driver halos start to flicker. I’ve tried everything on coding them

Hey I got the non switch backs (I have an 02 e46 wagon, manual), I plugged in the same fuse slot to have the lights turn on when I unlock the car but it doesn’t turn on. I tapped into the glovebox. Any suggestion on what the issue could be?

Iv got a problem for you, When i unlock my door my interior lights (Front center + rear c pillars) do not illuminate, Nor do they illuminate when the door is opened. The push buttoned lights work fine. Any help would be appreciated. iv taken the front center switch cluster and it works in a another E46

Hi! How powerful i need depo halo ring bulb diodes? Because for me they start flashing after a while and burn out. I have bought them in various stores, but they still burn out after a short time. Where can I see which diodes I need to put? There are 4 diodes in one eye circle for all 4 eyes in total 16 diodes, many of them start flashing quickly and burn out and some don't burn out. Can you help or recommend something?

Hey I installed some switchback strip lights above my Halos on my 03 e46 they work fine when the ignition is turned to # 2 position but once i cut the car on they turn white and even when I hit the turn signal they still stay white. Cant seem to figure it out

nice video man! but to be honest, The proper way in removing the headlight lens is 1. Remove corner light 2. Remove Bottom Trim of the headlight and you'll be able to see the side clip so you don't break them 3. Remove rubber upper headlight trim 4. Unclip headlight lens 5. Remove inner bezel 6. Install AE's
