Hey guys, today we will show you how to reset the service indicator on BMW e61 or BMW E60. We demonstrated on a 2007 BMW 530xi. It is not very complicated procedure to reset the oil life on this BMW but you need to make sure that you do it quick enough otherwise it will kick you out of the reset procedure. If you need the brakes reset you do it the same way. The particle filter is there as well.

❤❤❤❤❤ As a first time 2010 e60 owner this video helped me alot. I haven’t driven my vehicle for sometime because I saw the oil go to 0mls n got scared. I live in Belize where not too many mechanics want to work on my vehicle so this video was very helpful

It will not reset the front brake the value keeps going back to -9000 it did the rear just fine any help with this

In short, maybe 30 seconds reading: Press and hold reset button until service menu appears. Then short press to rotate selections. Once desired option is on display press and hold until RESET appears. Then release and press and hold again until everythings goes away. Done.

if it’s what i think it is. start the engine, turn the wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right. i hope that fixes it because if it doesn’t i don’t know what to say. Did the battery get disconnected at all?

ChazzFTW I tried that too and didnt work either, battery is new and also alternator was changed that's when all lights came on, but tried to reset different ways and nothing, not sure what the problem is gives me headache . Dealership is too expensive to solve the problem but if that's the case I might just go there and see what's the cause of that.Thank you for reply.

I have a carista bluetooth OBD2 scanner. if i were you i’d buy something like that if the dealer tells you it will be expensive and you can also diagnose other problems in the future if you need to
