I have an M5 E60 with around 62k miles. I bought it back in 2017. I live in Sweden so I dont drive the M5 during the winter time (never been driven in winter time). Every winter I am debating with myself if I should sell the M5. But when the spring comes and I turn the key over and the mighty V10 starts up I forget everything about selling the car! Sure the maintance costs is pretty big but the V10 makes me smile everytime. Fuel filter, throttle accuators, rod bearings, vanos high pressure line, injectors, clutch, SMG pump, slave cylinder, Steel wound (dont know the right word for it) brake lines, Carbotech XP 12 brake pads in the front and XP 10 in the back. I have done everything! Dont sell your M5 you will regret it!! // Interlagos Blue M5 E60 owner

A fully sorted M5 E60 is definitely a future investment. I'd say you should keep and enjoy her as long as you can. I bought my '66 plate F10 M5 last year and will be doing the same. I think the F10 is the successor to the ultimate M5 (E39) and hope to keep it as mint as possible as a future classic.

Unless you desperately need the money, KEEP IT!

Life is for living Ed……if you can afford to keep it, then keep it…….future values are only going to rise and imagine the collection you will have amassed when you’re old and enjoying life😉

Future investment for sure. I’d keep it as long as possible. 🤙🏻 They won’t make something that crazy again. Sell it only if you want to buy your own shop and expand channel. Car can be bought again easy.

You are the perfect owner for it. You love it and you can maintain it. It"s also an appreciating asset. If you can afford to keep it why would you sell? Maybe time for a roadtrip to Germany/Nordschleife for some autobahn/ring fun.

Love the M5 mate especially in this colour configuration. If I was you i would definitely keep it for few more years as they are going up in value. If you have dry storage to keep her in and just take her out for a blast every now and then just keep her you won't regret in few years time.

Definitely don't sell it. It's a modern classic for sure. Only doubts I would have personally that it's left hand drive. Which obviously in the euro market is always a big -. Only reason i would sell it to change to right hand drive. But since you're in UK, I guess it's no big deal

Sell it if you don't drive it. These cars don't like sitting around for long periods. Things start to seize up and petrol goes off. Also Super unleaded petrol quite often contains ethanol at 2.5% even though the petrol retailers pretend otherwise. Ethanol is bad for cars that don't get used every day.
