@@anthonycrisan-duma2320 I spent about $1700 on parts + tuning. I did the installation of all parts myself though. I would guess it would probably cost another 1-2000 for labor, it is quite the job

F15s are nice but they don’t sound as good or make as much power as the e70 twin turbo m57.

Malone Tune, VRSF downpipe +midpipe. If I were to do it again I would go with RawTek though.

It’s really not bad, I’ve put about 13,000 miles on it during my ownership and the only failure I’ve had was an injector. Everything else I have done was preventative maintenance. I do all my own work but this is my first diesel and it’s not hard to work on at all

@@Shade_Tree_Mechanic average is 26ish, I can do 30 if it’s just highway driving. Best I ever recorded was about 32 on a 500 mile trip. If your having fun with it though it’s really hard to get above 25

It is an m57 yes. After mods I’m not sure. 5 seconds maybe ?

Is this car good to buy? Sunroof has Three of open options all work fine & No water leaks. Driven just 165kms since last service. Has a Duel A/c & heater system for rear & Middle seats & A/c works brilliant Towbar Capacity 3500KG. All Doors got windows visors. Got warrant couple of days ago full clear sheet. W.O.F -Expiring June 2025. Did Had a minor oill leak & Fixed oil leak by end up replacing Brand new Turbo & oill feeder(kept old turbo,oil feeder & recipet for proof) Spring Clips,Intake Gasket,Inlet Gasket,Injector Gasket Rings,Injector O Rings,Rocket Cover Gasket,all parts From Continental BMW Wellington. (Transmission)Gear box mount,Turbo hose,Front both side Sway bar links done (parts & Mechanic recipet available) Done Transmission service 5 months ago has recipet & stil got old filter (Tray)for proof. Lots more done honestly can't remember,we do long road trips through school holidays spent lots of money keep Truck 100% healthy. Apparently These X5 BMW Diesel 6 speed Steptronic gearbox

put your foot on the brake and press the pedal untill you reach desired rpm and let go the brake while pushing the accelerator

Pretty much all the gas engines are faster than the diesel, except for the base 30i model.

Does deleting the Def crap improve Mpg. My 35d is getting about 21mpg on average. Bone stock.

Yes there is typically a 15-20% increase in fuel economy associated with the modifications mentioned here.
