For less than $400 it’s a super solid option in my opinion, especially with the ability to control it, very happy with the purchase so far!

I'm currently using a VRSF catless downpipe on my F30 335i, however still using the stock exhaust (minus my resonator wearing out because of my Pure Stage 2 turbo & O2 sensors going bad once). I find mine to be loud enough, I could probably get a valved exhaust, but I haven't entertained the idea too much just yet.

Looks good, I have been trying to figure out what to get for my F10 and the prices for just axle backs are crazy. This is a good option if you don't want it too loud. IM thinking of trying the magnaflow catback or maybe go this way and try and put it together myself. Good luck with the channel and keep up the good work.

I was surprised as well, makes me super curious to hear the car with a catless downpipe, might just have to be on the list of potential mods haha

Nice video. The mufflers you have look very similar to the Valvetronic ones, i wonder if i can expect the same sounds with their kit. No one has made a comparison of the sound with only the muffler swap(valvetronic) on 535i. Everyone opts for the resonator delete but its known to cause drone on 535i.

I can’t speak on if that will be the case 100%, maybe not when the valves are closed but very likely the same when they’re open only because at that point you’re pretty much straight piped from the cat/resonators back, but depending on if valvetronics muffler design is different on the inside than the ones I got, I’d guess the sound may be a little different but very similar 👍🏼

Fun fact: the factory exhaust is also valved which opens above 4K RPM, and you can manipulate it wit the Carly app or other things, but this sounds really good.

Feel free to correct me, but from my understanding that’s only a 550 & m5 option, im not aware of the 535s getting that, maybe on the msport models (which mine isn’t originally), but either way, I’m glad I have my own version of them now haha

Great video, bro I bought a 2013 535i M Sport with only 38,000 miles a few months ago and your stance is exactly what I'm looking for. I can't tell, are you running 19s or 20s? Any suspension work? Nice job with the video and your whip is gorgeous 😍

Thank you! Yea the car was on 20” wheels and coilovers, I had it setup to where the edge of the wheel arches sat pretty much level with the tops of the tires, so pretty much no wheel gap, which was perfect for me, hardly ever scraped and plenty of room for dips/speed bumps etc 👍🏼

I have a question what did you buy for it to have the quad exhaust system besides the Muffler Kit and The Exhaust pipes ? Good Video put me over the edge to upgrade my 535I now.

I have the same exact thing and the drone inside the vehicle is super loud. Are you experiencing the same thing? I have the VSRF downpipe as well

Currently there is no drone, with or without the valves open, but unlike you I still have my factory cats, so if I ever go catless I’m sure id get a little drone

Yea I’ve had a couple people let me know and sadly I’ve tried to find a good link for both mufflers and I haven’t been able to, but you can find them individually on there no problem, just need 2 of course

Didn't know the 535 came without exhaust valves until this day...A n55 should have this as stock, just like the 640i (in sport mode)

Dont quote me but i think maybe the msport 550's and the M5's came with them, but not the 535's as far as i know, but i could be totally wrong haha

Any desire to get a 550? Shopping for my 2nd car, been driving my dads in the mean time. He has a w212 e550 Mercedes with a renntech tune so it’s got like 700 torque. That being said I’m a little spoiled for power now. The 550 tends to go a little out of my price range, how is this car for you?

The 550 is a really rad car…when it’s not broken lol. I don’t have any personal experience but it’s well known and documented about how problematic that particular model can be vs the 535i or even the M5, so if you have the budget/know how to keep it on the road, it can be a monster just like your dads Mercedes, but be prepared to have to handle some tedious jobs on it 👍🏼

Hey, isn't it too loud on highway with valves closed? I'm mean high speeds like 100+ mph, for an hour or two. Btw your videos rock, I've recently swapped my bumper for m, your video was very helpful, and the effect is phenomenal.

First off, thanks for the kind words, I’m glad the video was able to help with your swap! As far as sound goes, in my personal experience, whether or not the valves are open, the exhaust is hardly noticeable, I’m suspecting that my car has a ton of sound deadening installed (I’m sure most if not all f10s share this same characteristic since they’re mainly designed for daily driving/comfortability sake) so I have no complaints other than my car truly not being loud enough, at least on the inside of my car haha

I did a bit of searching as well and it seems the ones I bought aren’t there anymore, but I was able to find single valved mufflers, may just have to purchase 2 of them separately sadly

Are u able to pair the remote control to the garage door buttons under the rear view mirror?? I wanna say I saw Thic Whips do that when he had his A90 Supra

Good question, I haven’t tried to set that up truthfully, it’s easier for me to just use the remote that it came with, but if there’s a way to pair new remotes I don’t see why that couldn’t happen

Sadly I do not, I’ve gone back a few times to try and find an updated link and sadly all I can find are the mufflers being sold individually, sorry :/

Sadly no, but the added noise from the back definitely makes it SEEM like it does, just cuz it was basically a prius (noise wise) before i switched to this setup haha. But a catless downpipe and a tune would really wake it up now that its free flowing out of the back
