It's crazy the middleweight bikes are now getting to the size of the big bore bikes back in the early 00s. Power on everything is just getting out of hand.

Completely agree! I think motorcycle manufacturers are praying that people continue to buy these pricey, powerful ADV bikes because they make better profit margins on them. The most powerful bike I would consider is the V-Strom 800DE or the Transalp XL750, anything bigger is too much $ and too much power.
