BMW i3s equipped with the smaller Business Navigation System often suffer from big dark spots appearing on the iDrive infotainment display.
Until now, the only "repair" has been to replace the entire display assembly which costs over £2,000 new from BMW.
In this video, we show you an easy DIY method where by buying the screen itself, it can be placed into the original assembly for less than 10th the cost!

Slightly off piste, but can you retro fit the reversing camera to a later model i3

It's very complicated (if you want it done right), so if you want a car with a camera, we would suggest picking one on the used market which came with it from factory.

I was thinking that too, but would be a nightmare to replace. You can get them specifically cut for the screen, so I’d just get one of those and stick it on after assembly.
