Hello man! Nice video! Didnt knew about the mdm (traction) mode! But can you put full dsc off but keep throttle respons and sterring and rev match from sport +? I have tried one mine but when I put dsc off it put the car in comfort mode ...

Tried MDM mode on my dad's with m performance exhaust and it's like 10 times louder than sport +.

Sport plus is mdm mode?

@@gedam131 sport plus is the switch (comfort, sport, sport plus) MDM is just pushing the traction off button

@@Fritzje98 once you go into MDM, it automatically puts you into comfort. I don’t think there’s a way to do sport + and MDM

In my m135i i have to turn dsc all the way off for the exhaust valve open I guess its ok since i have xdrive

Wow this is a nice tip! Wonder why BMW is not allowing this model in sport+ mode! What happens if you press the traction control button while in sport + mode?

does the fake exhaust noise interfere with music being played on the stereo? do you still get the fake exhaust noise if you have the stereo turned off?

No, it doesn't interfere but it still works even when the stereo is turned off

Another great video!! Do you recommend getting the M performance exhaust? What are your thoughts/recommendations?

My car is completely stock, so I can’t really recommend anything. I personally don’t like the M Performance one. I like the Akrapovic more. But I haven’t heard other systems so far.

Hey! I have an M2 and I got an important question for you (even though you sold yours 😢😢). If you press the DSC button once, Traction displays on the cluster and you get a ton of burbles but the rev matching is still active right? It’s only when you long press the DSC and it displays DSC off in the cluster when rev matching is turned off. Is that correct? I want to know when rev matching is active or not in the hidden modes

Yes, that's correct. Rev matching is off when DSC is off.

CARtuned! In Romania is destul de faine! Da și la mine începe cu RW doua litere și apoi poți sa pui pana la patru numere și ii nasol asa ca nu ai ce combinație sa faci cu RW

Is it not possible to get all the burbles in sport mode with MDM?

No. Because all 4 driving modes are completely independent. If you're in Sport mode and press the DSC button the car jumps out of Sport mode and goes into Traction/MDM mode.

In my car Sport + mode is MDM mode. Pretty sure it’s the same as yours.

I wanted to start modifying my car next year. And I do want an exhaust. But unfortunately there are some new regulations in Europe and you can't fit louder exhausts on your car anymore. So BMW isn''t allowed to sell the M Performance exhaust at this moment. I'll see what I can do next year about this :) But expect a video either way when I decide

Can M2 be driven for road trips in long distance? (200 km - 300 km)

That's a very short distance actually. Of course it can, why wouldn't you drive it on long distance roadtrips? I drove mine on a 5000km roadtrip right after buying it. It was great!

Yes. All M-cars can be equipped with sunroofs. But the M3, M4 and M5 lose their carbon roof of you go for that option

The 2017 model did not have a sunroof option. 2018 and onward M2 offered an optional sunroof.

Really not sure it comes from the speaker. Audi does that but not bmw.

Of course BMW has that. It's called Active Sound Design and you can disable it via coding. Not to mention that when my amplifier stopped working on the car, the fake sound stopped. So yes, it 100% comes from the speakers.

@@davehmong Unfortunately this Active Sound Design is on all BMW M2 cars. Even in the Competition. So if you experienced a car that doesn't have that, it's either coded out or they bypassed it with a harness in the trunk

That doesn't mean it's not there. It's on all M2 care. In fact, it's in pretty much all M-cars starting from 2015, or 2014. Can't remember exactly. It's well documented
