In my opinion, it's very responsive. However it's my only automatic experience to be fair, from what I've heard it's not as good when pushing on as the DCT/DSG/PDK but it's very, very smooth. I don't know if you noticed but towards the latter end of the video you can hear it whining, which is a characteristic of the ZF8 after giving it a good hammering for a period haha. Yeah haha, some nice cars around there that day!

Chris Martin I’d go for an M240i if I were you - Newer, more efficient (when you need it), more tuneable and most will have the updated iDrive with CarPlay functionality plus the LCI front/rear lights and dials!

@@JOPOV Yeah, they definitely seem the one to go for but I think it will come down to what ends up being the best deal at the time. I drive a boring A3 at the moment but have had a few JDM Type Rs in recent years so hoping the 235/240 will be a reasonable middle ground between abit of comfort for the office commute and gun enough for the odd drive. Random one, are you getting an M2 soon? I seem to recall reading a topic on pistonheads and the guys username was practically identical to your number plate haha

Chris Martin I don’t blame you mate, I opted for this at the time because a high spec M235i was far cheaper than a (then) nearly new M240i with a basic spec! Yeah it definitely won’t disappoint then if that’s what you’re looking for, they’re like small GT cars when you want them to be and pretty ASBO too haha! Yeah that’s me, hopefully getting it delivered next week some time, small world!

@@JOPOV and with bolt ons and a tune you can push like 400+whp. Not as good as a b58 but still a hefty ammount of power for a small car like that

I knew he was behind me since the start of the run back to Rivington from Belmont. I slowed down way more than required because I thought the guy taking photos with the hi-vis coat was a Policeman with a speed gun, turns out it was one of his friends from a forum. We both accelerated afterwards, I’m sure he could’ve overtaken if he wanted to but due to the upcoming hill and Audi Q5, didn’t. I think he just wanted to show me he could, if he wanted to 😅

I should add, I did a few runs with some of the same group of bikes, none of us attempted to overtake each other.

Makes sense - I thought I saw the same stretch of road more than once I enjoyed it way more than Google street view Because Google Street View is slower, and doesn't have that gorgeous 6 cylinder sound track! I wanted to see a video of the entire area, because SOME of it is in the opening theme for the 7th and final series of Watching They're on the motorbike and sidecar, the lake can be seen in the background

@@matthewrattigan538 Yeah it’s a nice stretch, popular with car/bike enthusiasts, definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby. Well, wait until there’s some better weather and we’re out of lockdown of course! Ahhh really, I didn’t know that - I’ll have to have a look!

Hola Hovito I’ve averaged 25mpg over 20k miles, I use Tesco Momentum 99 - Get about 240 miles to a tank which is roughly £60
