Chasing a friends 458 in mixed conditions, the 458 quicker on the straights and in the wet, the M4 quicker in the dry. The track was half wet and half dry then completely wet at the end. One of the best sessions of the day!
458 on MPS4S and the M4 on AD08R.

Awsome footage, credit to the Ferrari owner running all day regardless of the weather..you guys dealt with the traffic well :) Although think your brakes got a bit hot!

Thank you! Yes, he's not shy of the wet 😂😂 And yes again, my brakes should've been replaced a long time ago!!

Hey Sam - awesome vid! I ended up here via a link from the EBC site after you'd been testing their RPX pads.... I've just picked up an F82 M4 and will be tracking it a bit. Are you still running EBC pads? How about their 2 piece discs?

Hi Rich, thank you 🙏 I’ve been running the EBC RPX pads for years now, brilliant pads that never fade even when completely worn out as evidenced by this vid! You can hear some vibrations but I’m fairly certain this was caused by the bells and discs being partially seized. I replaced the discs but don’t think I needed to, just needed to free the discs from the bells. Hope that makes sense!

@@samellio Cheers for the reply! Certainly good to hear some real world experience from someone running a good pace! I used Winmax 6.5 pads on my previous track car (meg r26) - in two minds about whether to stick with what I know, or try something new :)

@@richcallear I haven’t tried winmax but if price is an issue it might be worth calling EBC Direct and asking for Stefan. The RPX are half the price of RS29!

Nice driving Sam! Do you have any footage of the last session with the E92 M3 by any chance?

I wish I did, was that you driving in the last session? I had the camera going but it only recorded my passenger 😭😭 such a shame as it was the best session!!

@@samellio Ahh no worries, yeah I was driving the M3. Yeah was good fun, I know I should have brought my GoPro along!
