it was and is still ugly, but I think people are growing to tolerate it just because they miss the V10 and realize it's not coming back

I had one, it was bloody awful around town, the SMG was crap and it sounded like it was knackered on tick over. It was only good when being thrashed. As a daily drive forget it.

I don’t get the hype the bmw kids have around this car. E60 is the ugliest m car you can find, combined with the v10 that breaks down every 5k miles. Rs6 and w211 from this era sound much better and look miles better. You can bash this comment all you want, I don’t care.
