Hello friends,
Follow me as I ride to Renegade Brewery for the West Berkshire Cars & Coffee, hosted on the first Sunday of every month.
I had much more to show from the event, but I made the mistake of filming in portrait rather than landscape, as I'm so used to creating reels for Instagram. Perhaps I'll upload those as a KZfaq Short.
I then go for a ride with the boys.
I'm happy with the visuals of this video, but I'm so disappointed with the sound. It was nice to be riding at the back of the pack, and I had hoped you would hear all the exhausts in unison, but the wind noise was just too much for the GoPro (I forgot my foam windbreaker case as well).
Having said all that, I hope you enjoy the video.

Thank you so much, Josh! They did a wonderful job with the spec and I can see why so many manufacturers are releasing chrome versions of their bikes; they look so damn good!

I believe they’re Zard slip-ons. They sound even better in the flesh. The wind was pretty dreadful that day, and I didn’t set my mic up correctly, so the recording doesn’t do them justice 😩

I’ve always been surprised at how quiet the exhaust note is on the R nineT given they come with an Akrapovic system.

Footage is awesome mate🔥 My first time at westberkshirecarsandcoffee and I'll definitely be back for the next one. Looked like a fun ride over to the Podium Place, I'll ride out with you guys next time 👍

Thanks so much, buddy. It's a shame you can't hear more of the exhaust as it's super quiet on the R nineT even when you open the throttle all the way. The ride was lovely; I'll be doing it again soon.

The microphone was placed near to my foot, so I imagine that has something to do with it sounding louder than usual. Thanks for the support.

@@TheBritishMotorbiker Aah…that explains it 😎. My helmet, my earplugs, and my selective hearing (from decades of a nagging wife) make my gearbox sound like a knife going through melted butter. In reality, I’m probably knocking seven bells out of my cogs 😬. Enjoyed your video!
