Thank you for sharing this with us! I am fixated on buying this bike as my beginner bike since I am very tall and heavy and most bikes are too small/uncomfortable for me. This really helps me familiarize myself with my future bike. I have one lined up for €3k at 100.000km and it looked/behaved fine for the most part. I hope now that the owner will let me check it at a service point before I make the decision to buy it. Otherwise I will not buy the bike since I don't trust my gut feeling enough to make this technical decision. And it would be a huge red flag if the owner would deny my my request to check it beforehand, suggesting that he was hiding something from me. It would be a good investment for the purchase either way since it would help me gain more understanding of the bike I am about to buy and also save me from buying a faulty bike.
